Helping the Less Fortunate Was What Saved Him, He’d Paroled from Drunk-Driving…Didn’t Need to Get Back in the Cage Again

Gotten away, with jail time, because of what he’d been doing, after his last release from the jail systems, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

A man, Lai rode out on his scooter drunk one evening last year, was caught by the police, and because he is still on probation, he was sentenced to two months for public endangerment, he was displeased, filed for an appeal. The judge reviewed his records, and found that since his release, he’d been helping the less fortunate, taking care of his elderly parents, that if he were sent back to prison to serve his remaining terms, he wouldn’t be able to commit himself to not-for-profit work, and, changed the ruling that he didn’t need to serve any time.

The fifty-year-old Lai because of illegal substances, was sentenced to fifteen years and stripped of his government position, two years ago he was released on parole, there are still three more years of parole he had left. Last October, he was drinking beer at a food shop in Chang-An E. Road, then, he got on his motorcycle, rode home in the midnight hours, and the police stopped him, his breathalyzer shoed 0.27mL, the D.A. filed a public endangerment suit and asked for a simplified verdict, the judge gave him two months, and that he’d needed to pay a $10,000N.T. fine.

Lai was displeased and filed for an appeal, claimed that he couldn’t make the last train, and he was worried that his mother might get too worried, that was why he’d ridden his scooter out.

After the judge reviewed his statement, he believed, that although Lai wasn’t supposed to ride out drunk, but he had originally planned to take the train back to his home in Shulin, but missed that last train, and felt rushed to get back home so his own mother would worry, that was why he’d ridden his scooter, that his mindset was different from those who got behind the wheels after they were drunk, that it would be too harsh, if he’d received the minimum sentence.

The verdict pointed out, that after Lai’s release, he’d helped trained the handicapped individuals to work in janitorial positions, and he worked very hard at it, took care of his aging parents, brought positive influence to the community, that he’d kept himself in check after the parole, and worked in nonprofit.

The judge believed, that Lai’s breaking his parole by drunk driving, if his parole was retracted, he would have to head back into prison to serve the remaining four years nine months, and he’d considered the degree of his crime, and he was already fifty, and still able-bodied to give back to the community, “If he is sent back to prison, how would he be able to give back to the community like he is doing now?”, and rather than sending him back to prison, he should be released, to help the community like he’d been doing.

And, because of this man’s pouring himself into volunteering for the not-for-profit organizations, that is why he was able to get a “get-out-of-jail-free” card, and, the judge considered, that he was rushing home, so his aging mother wouldn’t be too worried, and that there wasn’t any other viable forms of transportation available to him, that was why he’d gotten on his scooter, and rode out drunk.

Trump Stated that the School Teachers Should Start Carrying Guns, the Parents Were Angered by His Statements

The PRESIDENT of the U-N-I-T-E-D S-T-A-T-E-S, had BLURTED something OUT, without having the THOUGHT run through his HEAD again, I’m afraid!!! And he still couldn’t, make UP his mind of which side to STAND at!!! With MY opinions on the matter inputted, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

In the seventeen deaths middle school shooting in Florida on the fourteenth, President Trump saw about forty students, teachers and parents on the twenty-first, including the six survivors of the shooting. They’d begged Trump to “Do something about it”, to prevent similar cases from happening repeatedly in school, Trump promised to have the stricter background checks for gun purchases, and even brought up the thought, of having the school teachers armed, to have the teachers also carry guns in the classes, but last year, a parent of the student who’d died in the Florida middle school shooting rebutted, “How many students need to die under a gun?”

gettng questioned on the policies he set up for gun control, photo from online…

In this nearly one-hour long meeting, Trump was focused in listening to the demands of the students and parents saying how the security needs to be reinforced in the schools, how there needs to be more drills, and to up the age of buying the weapons too. But Trump replied as he had before, that he was for owning a gun, to protect the people themselves, to SHOOT the shooters first.

The student who’d died in the shooting, Pollack’s father, Drew told Trump, that his daughter got shot NINE times then died on the day, “That is why I’m here”, he’d asked Trump, “How many schools, how many students need to be under attack? This needs to stop now. If there’s no change, I won’t ever stop.”

Trump stressed, in the future, “We will do a very strict background check, and focus on the gun purchasers’ state of mind,” he’d also mentioned, that it’s needed, for some of the school teachers, to train to use a gun, to scare off the possible shooters.

Trump said, “If the school teachers have the licenses to carry the concealed weapons, then, they will be trained, especially, and there wouldn’t be a gun-free zone in the schools.” Trump believed, that banning all guns from the schools will only worsen the matter, he said, “the gun prohibited zones means, ‘let’s go in and shoot everybody inside’.”

查看來源圖片here’s one, have a LAUGH, everybody, found online…

Trump said, take for instance, the Florida middle school shooting, “if there was a teacher trained to use gun, then, it’s easy, to disarm the shooter quickly.” But Trump also admitted, that it’s debatable, the thought, of having the school teachers bear arms.

And so, here, you can see, how this is all, the American President’s one-man-SHOW, he’d stated an idea, and, someone from the audience (a parent whose child had died) challenged his thought, Trump fended for his idea, and, then agreed, with the parents’ views on how it wouldn’t be SOUND, having the school instructors armed. And from this, we can see??? How easily businessmen change their minds, and, how AWFUL it’s gonna get, for the LAND of the FREE, to live under, “King TRUMP”!!!

The Murders of Kaohsiung Medical University, His Best Friend Fell in Love with a Younger Female Schoolmate for Just Two Days, He’d Murdered His Friend

See how short-lived the love was???  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

The medical student from Kaohsiung Medical School, Huang, after murdering his close friend in the class, Liu, attempted suicide, the investigators found, that Huang had used the excuse of needing to get drunk and pouring his heart out, to get Liu to go to his place, and after he’d murdered Liu, he’d set up the crime scene to look like it was a fire, and pretended to be super drunk, actually, the breathalyzer showed that he hadn’t had anything to drink, and this had happened, two days, after Liu had started dating a younger schoolmate he had a crush on.

The police and investigators found, that the girl, on the 25th of last month had agreed to be Liu’s girlfriend, and that very day, they’d gone out together, on the late night of the 27th, Huang asked Liu to his place to drunk, and, Liu had even texted his girlfriend that “it would be awkward, meeting with Huang”, and, shortly after he’d arrived, Liu was murdered.

The school stated, that the girl didn’t show up for school on the 29th of last month, became emotionally unstable and needed the company of her family members, the school will give her counsel.  Her classmate told, that everybody knew that Huang and Liu were the best of friends, and she’d mentioned to her, that when she’s dating one of them, she must be extremely careful.

When Huang was murdering Liu, he’d texted the younger schoolmate using Liu’s cell, saying that he was “making food”, and the cell phone still wasn’t found to this date, the police got a hold of the records of communication, to see if there’s a third party who knew about it, to clarify the reasons Huang murdered, and to see if there are others who may know about what was going to happen, before it did.

The attorney, Chia-Rong Liu stated, that on the 29th of last month when Huang turned himself in, he’d stated, “My life is over”, “If I get sent to jail, then, I don’t want to live anymore”, although he’d agreed to turn himself in, but Huang didn’t have the courage to tell his father the truth, asked him to come the very next day; and Huang never showed, and, although he’d notified the police immediately, it was, too late already.

So, this, is how messy this love triangle got, and, the men were best of friends growing up too, and yet, love still came between them, because the girl whom the murderer loved didn’t reciprocate his affections, that made him angry, and, seeing how his best friend had gotten her attention, it’d made him even MORE furious, which was why he’d murdered his best friend, and, love IS the culprit, of this murder!

The Sorrows of Being Handicap, the Home Sent Her to the Hospitals for Treatment, Six Separate Units Won’t Take Her in, Made Fifty Calls for Assistance, the Handicapped Female Became a Human Rolling Ball

From the life of a handicapped person here, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

Yesterday on the near noon hours of the streets in Chungli, Taoyuan, there was an all-too-sad scene, a person in need of medical help, getting kicked around; the severely retarded woman, Yeh, with a feeding tube, lay helplessly, on the stretcher of an ambulance, waited for her family, and the city and county governments, to decide, “Where she belonged”.

The social worker who’d accompanied the woman made over fifty calls, and, each and every organization that she’d called told her, “there’s nothing we can do either”; yesterday the temperature rose up to the thirties, and yet, the coldness of the attitudes from all around, had made the social worker who tried to help the head shake, “the weather is really hot, but, humanity is really cold.”  In the end, Yeh stayed on the ambulances for over four hours, and finally, she was, handed over to the county government where she was registered to live, and placed her into the local He-Xing Home.

The fifty-three year-old Yeh had Downs’ Syndrome, last month, she contracted pneumonia and was hospitalized at Chubei, Hsinchu.  Before she was sent home, the hospitals notified the home to come and pick her up, but, Yeh had a breathing tube, and couldn’t be allowed back into the home, and, the home sent a local ambulance to lift her back to her sister’s home in Chungli, Taoyuan.

The ambulance arrived at the sister’s home at about eleven in the morn yesterday, but, Yeh’s older sister just wouldn’t let her younger sister in, “don’t drop her on my doorsteps, take her away, she’s NOT my family, we’re only related by blood as sisters.”

The operators of the ambulance, and the social worker from the care facility and four others were shocked by the woman’s replies, and worked hard, to console Yeh’s older sister, to let her younger sister go home, but, neither side was willing to compromise, the six members started asking one another, “what, do we do now?”, and they’d started frantically, dialing up the numbers for the city of Taoyuan, Chungli, as well as the Social Services Departments too to seek out assistance.

At noon, the social workers had met so many dead-ends, and called up the police, and asked the man in charge of the borough, to come and help sort the matter out, and, the patrol officers who arrived on scene also said, “this, is civil matter, there’s nothing that we, the police can help”; in the end, the volunteers called up the domestic violence hotline, and, didn’t get anywhere, in the end, the ambulance could only, lift Yeh back to the county government’s office of Hsinchu, where Yeh was registered as a residence.

The press reporters came on sight at around one o’clock, and saw a group of people, squatted by the older sister’s neighbor’s doorsteps, sweating away, and eating their lunches, and, Yeh’s older sister had, quickly, gotten up, and went into her house, shut the doors, and ignored the knocking of the social workers.

Yeh, because of the seriousness of her conditions, she couldn’t speak, with the tubes, hanging from her body, the social worker feared that she might have a heat stroke, didn’t dare turn the ignition of the ambulance that was used to transfer her off; but, because she couldn’t eat, due to how hot the weather was, she kept on wailing, and, even though, the social workers felt her pains, all they could do was keep tapping on her shoulders, consoling her, “We’re thinking of ways, you must put up with it.”

“I’d done more than I was supposed to”, Yeh’s older sister, at two o’clock in the afternoon, came out of her house, and told the press, that she was ill herself, and needed to take care of her stroke, bedridden older brother, that she could not afford the $8,000N.T. of her sister’s caretaking fees, “there’s nothing I can do, and you can’t just leave her here with me without my consent.”

This, would be the sad case, of how a woman in need of assistance got KICKED around, because NO place would take her in, and that, is just how the world is, so cold, so cruel, you can’t even help your own siblings out…

A Twenty-One Year-Old Didn’t Heed the Advice of His Elders, Got Involved in Drugs, and Murdered His Own Grandparents, Then, Set Their Bodies on Fire

Another TRAGEDY, from the Front Page Sections, translated…

“Come quick, I’d murdered my grandma.” A man, Lee, in the city of Kaohsiung, early yesterday morn, reported it to the police, as the police came to the scene, they’d found an elderly woman, with multiple knife wounds, and another elderly man, in the bedroom, burnt to charcoal, and, they’d believed, that Lee, who’d reported had gotten high, and afterwards, murdered his own grandparents, then, set their bodies on fire.  The police booked Lee based off of murder charges, and, after the D.A. interrogated him, they’d asked the courts to keep him in custody.

As the paramedics and the police arrived on scene, Lee (age 21) who’d called, wept nonstop by the side, and, afterwards, as the fire department rushed his grandma to the hospitals, he drove with them, and, on the way to the hospital, he became dumbfounded, and, cried out from time to time, “Grandma, Grandma”, but the grandmother was already, covered with blood, with her eyes, wide open, with the look of shock on her face, not responding.

The assistant manager of the Chi-Shan Police subprecinct, Dai stated, that two nights ago, Lee called on his buddies, to gather at his grandparents’ place, and used drugs, at first, they’d started using the mixture of multiple illegal substances called “Coffee”, then, they’d gotten high on ketamine.  Lee claimed that after he’d gotten high, he’d wanted to go and hold a conversation with his grandma, and grandma told him, “Stop using whatever you’re using already”, he was in a daze already, as he’d gone to the kitchen, took a kitchen knife, and, started hacking up his grandmother, the grandfather tried to block him, he got madder, and, chased after his grandfather with the knife, then, he’d lit up half a bag of toilet paper, and, threw it toward his grandfather’s bed.

Lee had killed both his grandparents, his eldest uncle who lived in Tainan came home, and saw what he’d done, he’d blamed his nephew, “you ANIMAL”, “such a shame, that they loved him so very much”.  He said, when his nephew was just three, his parents divorced, that, after the divorce, his sister-in-law disappeared, leaving behind three young children, whom the grandparents managed to raise up, his younger brother died of illness three years ago, and gave him his youngest to look after, that the murdering of his parents by his nephew, was something he’d never thought could happen.

He said, that his nephew just won’t behave, didn’t graduate from middle school, later on, he’d become a car washer in Kaohsiung, and would lie often, recently, he’d gone back to his old home in Neimen, saw his nephew, getting high with his bad friends, and that, was when he’d learned, that his nephew has a drug habit.  And, he’d warned him too, that if he’d found him using again, he will call the police on him!

He’d stated, that his nephew was involved in a fraud case, and was sent to jail for three months, and, he felt that this, couldn’t continue anymore, before the Chinese New Year’s, he’d taken him to Tainan, and sent him to work, as a delivery man, wanted to stay close to him, so he could keep an eye on him, but, he’d only stayed with him for just one month, two nights ago, the nephew had, slipped away back home, and, “this awful thing happened”!

After Lee’s older sister learned about what he’d done, she’d left the statements of anger on Facebook, “Grandma and grandpa are so kind, and, how DARE you, kill them!  How am I supposed to look at you now, and how, do I face up to our dead grandparents?”

And, the culprit that caused this young man to murder his grandparents was still???  Oh yeah, ILLEGAL substances, and because this man was already, HIGH, and so, his judgments were impaired, and, when his grandparents told him to stop using drugs, he went psycho on them, and, this, is exactly what happens, when you get involved in drugs.

A Man Was Mocked “to Only Have the Abilities to Urinate Left”, He’d HACKED His Wife Up

This, I would imagine, would be, a build-up, to murder???  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A sixty-three year-old man, Chang, early yesterday morning, used a kitchen knife, hacked his fifty-nine year-old wife to death, afterwards, he’d attempted suicide by crushing himself down with the steel gates, but because it was too painful, he couldn’t do it, he’d called the police; he’d falsely claimed to the police, that his wife would often come home in the middle of the nights, that early yesterday morns, she’d headed out again, he’d suspected she was having an affair, and she’d insulted him by saying, “you only have the ability to urinate left”, he couldn’t withhold his own anger, that, was why he’d gone to get the kitchen knife, and, hacked his own wife to death.

The coroners examined, that Chang’s wife had a total of twenty-eight knife wounds on her, and, the slash that killed her was the one on her neck; Chang was booked on murder charges, and the reason for Chang’s wife’s death, and the reason for the murder, is still under investigation.

The paramedics told, that early yesterday morn when they received the call, to Chang’s place, the steel gates were already rolled up, and as they were taking Chang to the hospitals, they’d found Chang’s wife, lying on the living room floor, with knife wounds on her face, her neck, and the left and right hands, as well as the legs, she was, already dead, and, there were blood, in the kitchen, the bedroom, as well as the living room too.

Chang said, that he’d gotten so furious after his wife made fun of him, he didn’t recall how many times he’d hacked up his own wife, that in order to get away from him, his wife had, run from the kitchen into their bedroom, then, to the living room, in the end, she just, fell.  After he’d learned what he’d done, he’d tried to commit suicide, crawled under the electric steel gates, and, attempted, to close the door on himself to try to suicide, but the steel gates crushed his back, and he couldn’t withstand the pains, that, was when he’d called the police.  He said, that his wife has a history of depression, is long-term medicated, and had, used a fruit knife, and threatened to kill him.

But, his second son stated, that his parents hadn’t been getting along for a very long time, that his father has records of domestic violence, denied that his mother was depressed, believed, that it was his father, trying to weasel out of getting charged with murder; the residents of the same building told, that the Changs weren’t getting along at all, the husband had often complained of how his wife doesn’t cook for him, and stated, that his wife tried to hack him up with a knife, two years ago, he’d filed for a restraining order against her.

And so, we still have, a NUT who cracked here, and, because his wife made fun of him for long term, and this time, he just, CRACKED, and, in the HEAT of the moment, he’d HACKED her up, and that just shows you, how you should NOT make fun of someone, because, the person is surely to take it to heart, and, who knows, WHEN it’ll BLOW UP in your face!

The Boundaries of One Another’s Interactions with Members of the Opposite Sex

Translated…

My coworker showed up at the office with black rings around his eyes, complained how he wasn’t able to sleep last night.  Everybody joked about how he’d gotten to the age where insomnia set in, he’d laughed bitterly, “No, I’d had a fight with my wife.”, they were the model couple, rarely had any disagreements, and so, we were all very curious, as to what had happened.

“It’s all A’s fault, for LINE-ing me, said something that’s a joke, but, I wasn’t close to my phone, and, my wife went to check my phone, as she heard the alert sound, and, her face changed colors.”—heard that it was about A, we could all understand, how bad my coworker’s going to get it, because A loved telling jokes, including the sexist kinds too, and, those who don’t know her personally, can easily, misunderstand her.  Plus A posted her pictures from over a decade ago on LINE, she looked like a hottie, it’s a wonder, that my coworker’s wife got jealous.

My coworker explained to his wife a very long time, but, she’s still very angry.  After he’d made us all laugh, my coworker changed his tone to serious, said, “I’d never known how important I am to my own wife, and this time, it’d shown.  My wife wanted me to empathize, that if it were her, joking, laughing with her male colleagues, would I NOT feel anything?  And her words made me realize that I must, DRAW the boundaries.”

Similar things had happened to me, many, many years ago too, once I’d gotten into conversation with a male coworker, I’d not noticed how husband’s face changed colors.  After a few days of fuming, he’d told me, that I’d chatted with my coworker for too long, and, right then and there, I’d heard what he was actually saying, and, right then and there, I’d played coy with him, “You’re angry?”

“If it were you, wouldn’t you get mad too?”, he’d replied, self-righteously.  And ever since, that ruler from inside my mind was, put to work, until my husband, in order to help a female friend, sort through her emotions, he’d talked with her the entire night, the same topic surfaced.  I’d threw a fit, believed that he couldn’t even make time to hear his own wife out, but made the time to hear someone else.  After we’d both calmed down, we’d set up the rules, then, we’d ceased fire.

The boundaries between men and women are like the lines drawn on the ground with chalk, as you’d stepped on it, over, over and over again, the line will become more and more blurred, if you don’t draw it back on again, then, the line will eventually, cease, to exist.  The preciousness of a husband and wife lies in that they respect one another, and, in current day, when the high-tech products are all over the places, we must be more careful, in how we transmit our messages, until we want some huge tidal waves to attack our ordinary lives.

But, if you ask me, this, is still just two people, PROJECTING their own insecurities onto one another, I mean, I get, that you can get jealous if your wife/husband talked to someone from work so long, but hey, there’s NO point of getting jealous, and, you should just, VOICE out your concerns, at the moment of the incident, to CLEAR up the A-I-R, like the husband and wife here, they’d both held it down for a bit, and, you KNOW how those things have the tendency to ferment, and that, was why, these two instances almost went OUT of control!
