Written by a middle school principal, on the schools about to resume physically again soon! Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The Department of Education had loosened up the rules of halting the school sessions due to MERS-CoV, and many of the local cities, counties also, adjusted the rules and regulations regarding this, to the point of allowing the schools to decide independently of the government, the offices of education.
In time, the country is making it look like we’re, headed towards coexisting with the virus now, like we have enough medications, to quickly and effectively, treat MERS-CoV, so we’d become, confident, no need to live in fear. But, there are the parents who’d worried, the upcoming fieldtrips being safe and secure enough or not, and, if they pulled their children out, the fees already paid are nonrefundable, and the kids would have one less activities to do, the parents are deadlocked here.
Actually, there’s a need for the consensus of reaching the means of decisions of stopping the school sessions that required the units of local sanitation departments, and the head of the local department of education to decide. While currently, most cases had been known, after the parents tell the schools about it, and, causes time elapsed for the secondhand information, the schools are already, overwhelmed with the pressures of getting the process of reporting the cases to the CDC, to quarantine the classes. While the cases are scattered around lightly, this can be managed, but, if in the future, with the cases of confirmed contractions on the rise, in the lacking of provision of medical capabilities, as the school gets the edicts from the CDC, there would be more time elapsed. While, the quick scan swabs used, due to the lacking of funds, the schools’ supplies are only equipped to deal with the minority number of cases, and the allocation of these resources, the provision of these materials, are all reliant on the related government offices to help.
Preventing being better than treatment as stated, from before, the measures we took, whether it be setting up the separating boards, the enforcements of the people masking up, taking the temperatures, the sanitizing of our hands, it’s all on the preventive front, and, we’re all a part of this, we should not slack off, just because the classroom sessions had halted, and mistakenly believe, that we don’t need to take the preventive measures ourselves. Nobody wants to contract the virus, let alone the children, like how a parent stated, “even if there are thousands of cases that were new every day in the future, I still don’t’ want my own young to be one of them.”, as we hadn’t reached the heights of the outbreaks yet, it’s best, we take all of these, preventive measures, to help the parents feel a little less, worried.
And so, we should NOT slack off, because we’re looking at a group of younger generations, who aren’t vaccinated, because none had been developed yet, not safe for children that young to use, which puts them at risk, of becoming carriers, and, if the school sessions are resuming, and not enough measure of protections had been taken, or implemented, then, these children might well become, carriers, that are going to, spread the epidemic out, to out of control proportions, and so, we still need to take the measures of sanitizing, washing our hands, masking up like we’d been doing already, seriously.
