Lai Doesn’t Have the Times for the Trial-by-Errors in the Matter of American-Chinese-Taiwanese Relation as He Takes Office

The AmCham Taiwan posted its newest report on the outlooks, even though, from the general data, it showed, a decrease of the tension between China and Taiwan based off of American merchants, and the polled are a bit more confident, of the politics, and yet, the American businesses’ steady rise back to confidence of the Taiwanese-Chinese relation, isn’t determined by the party’s current means of relations with China, more of it was from the milder relationship between U.S. and China, that the two are no longer, going AT one another anymore; the AmCham Taiwan still believed, that the stable relations with China is what the elected government need to work out in the next three years, its, primary, goal.

But, with the coming of the American presidential elections, there would be, the political gossips that will, take over the U.S. next, plus, there’s no rest of the Russo-Ukrainian or the Hamas-Israeli conflicts, besides, recently, the U.S. military base close to Syrian-Jordan border was once again, attacked by the drones of Iran again, the Middle East is heading into unstable, again, and all of these, can affect the attention that the U.S. can give to the troubles between Taiwan and China.

Under this development, the Lai government that’s about to take office on May 20^th, it will surely have to, shoulder MORE responsibilities in the balances of Taiwanese-American-Chinese relations, there would be, less room for, error too.  There were a lot of instances when Lai had misspoken during his campaign, including, “entering into the White House”, “the Constitution of the Republic of China is disastrous”, etc., etc., etc., the American government said they understood, under the Tsai government’s explaining the matter away, while China started, showing that fitting level of amicability of late, and didn’t have any, radical move toward Lai being elected into office, and it seemed, that China is, still, observing; but, after the inauguration of May 20^th, Lai will be in charge, and that can’t be, evaded, and there’s a need to stabilize the relationships between China and Taiwan that’s, absolutely necessary.

Based off of the posted reports by the AmCham Taiwan, the surveys were conducted prior to Lai being elected into office; which showed of the reports observations of the geographical and Taiwanese-Chinese relations.  And this is the calm before the storm that we’re currently living in right now, a time, of China, the U.S., and Taiwan’s steadying oneself, taking the sides; the AmCham, rather than a reminder, it’s also, an expectation for the Lai government, hoping the newly elected government can keep the peace, the stability between China and Taiwan continually.

And yet, so it depends, solely off of what Lai’s policies toward China is, if he’s like his predecessor, then, chances are, bombs, missiles will come flying, with the armed fleets patrolling the exterior boundaries of the island, regularly, but, we don’t really know yet, because Lai had only gotten, elected into office, and who KNOWS how he’ll, behave, and maybe, he will, be less like Tsai, and be willing to, work things out with China, so we won’t get, HIT!

How Would the New Legislature Put Democracy into, Exercise

As the 2024 presidential and legislator elections are finished with, the DDP candidate, Lai was elected, but he’d not received half of the votes, and his party didn’t get the majority of seats in the, legislation either.  And  so, how will this, newly elected government, the legislature, put the values of democracy into, practice, to set up a full and complete system of the country run by the constitution, to give the people a safe and secure environment to work and to live in, this is what, all the citizens of this country are now, thinking about.

The political party ruling systems in a democracy, mostly used the elections to reinforce, the various candidates proposed their beliefs.  When necessary, combining the political parties, to work as a, united government.  To practice the values of democracy, to stop the minorities to control the government, to cause the unsettlement in the society, the professor of constitution, Su before the election, called out to the amendment of the impeachment of president and vice president before the election, to change it to the absolute majority, to fit to the values of, democracy.  Only, Lai still, insisted that receiving over forty-percent of votes gaining him the presidency.

Ultimately, the individual in power, should take the opinions of goodwill of those not of her/his party affiliation, especially on the subjects of the interactions, relations with China, the national security, the economic developments, as well as the energy policies, special budgets, the disciplines of the finances, the aging population, and the caretaking of the special needs group, turn the election from competition to cooperation, to make a better future for our, country.

And yet, which one of these, presidential candidates, actually HAVE the people’s wellbeing on their minds, when they get up to that podium?  NONE, it’s all for their, individual, personal gains, their parties’ benefits, that they’re, campaigning for, because this is how politics works, every party, every candidate for her/himself, SCREW the little people, WE the VOTERS, over, and W-H-O cares, and we’re still, the ones, voting this DICTATORSHIP political party along with its candidates for president and vice president, into, office, and of course I’m not saying, that voting for the two other party’s that didn’t win this time around is any better, because it’s not, and that, would be the problem of BIPARTISANSHIP!

The Older Brother Who is a Police Officer Covered for His Younger Brother, Worked with the Scam Artist Rings, and, Conned the Victims a Total of Hundreds of Millions of Dollars

Got that moonlighting gig, at the introduction of his own younger brother, and, it actually, paid a HELL of a LOT more, than his DAY JOB, until he was, CAUGHT!  Knowing the law, and breaking it, and this, FORMER (if he didn’t get FIRED from the force, he should be!) officer deserve a HARSHER sentence than the laypersons, because he SERVED the law, and knowingly BROKE them!  On crime and punishment, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

A patrol officer, Chen of the Linyuan Subprecinct of Linyuan Substation of the Kaohsiung City Police, was suspected of colluding with the scam rings, and for the sake of helping the ring dodge the checks, gave them tips on when the police will conduct a sweep; the Yunlin D.A.’s office yesterday conducted a search with the police, the offices of the law, called in Chen, and his younger brother, and six others in for interrogation, at the preliminary estimates, the ring had scammed over two hundred million N.T.s in just, one year, Chen received his cut of tens of millions of dollars.  After the interrogations, the district attorneys asked the courts to have the officer, Chen into custody, the courts signed off on that last night.

Last July the district attorney’s office in Yunlin conducted a virtual currency investment scam, arrested the delivery driver, Lin at Huwei, and from the contact records and the online messaging means, they’d found a total of twenty plus members of the ring; of them, the twenty-seven-year-old Chen was one of the primary suspect of the head of this ring, from the confiscated records, the police searched deeper, found that Chen’s twenty-nine-year-old older brother was a patrol officer at Linyuan Substation in Kaohsiung.

Officer Chen had been given a delayed indictment for his disclosing the details of a case, and had been listed by the police in the past.  The D.A. used the cell phone contact records, found that Chen the officer was a suspect in involvement of the case, two days ago, sent the internal affairs, to the station and Chen’s residence to conduct a search, and took Chen, his younger brother, a total of eight individuals back into the D.A.’s office, of them, four admitted to scamming, and were sent home after being interrogated.

The brothers, Chen, Liu and Lin all denied having scammed, the district attorneys charged all on encroachment, organized crimes, disclosing of secrets, aggravated fraud, money laundering, and other charges, and asked the Yunlin District Court to have all individuals in custody, on flight risks, collaborating their statements; last night, the courts signed off on the officer, Chen’s being taken into custody, the other three was released

Based off of understanding, since the start of last year, the officer, Chen was suspected of leaking out intel to the scam rings, not only did he leak out the personal data, he’d even, acted as the tactics advisor of the scam ring, teaching the members of the ring, how to dodge the checks from the police, how to evade arrest.  The ring scammed as much as fifty million dollars N.T. per month, and the officer, Chen received two to four percent of the total illegally earned amount.

The district attorneys, the investigation officers disclosed, that Chen has a complex social circle regularly, his younger brother was in the military schools from before, later, he’d started operating a finance company, and, his older brother covered him as he’d done illegal businesses, the two men loved the name brand cars, living in luxury.

The Linyuan Substation of the Kaohsiung Police immediately pulled Chen off of their rosters of employees and gave him two major written reprimands immediately, and transferred the manager of the substation into a nonmanagerial position.

And so, this is how, money enticed someone, to do bad things, I mean, you had a good job, as a police officer, and instead of working hard at your given position, you’d, used your knowledge of the law, whatever you got your hands on, the details of the busts that were announced to the office, to help the scammers dodge arrest, and you got caught, and now, you’re not just, getting FIRED, you’ll also get, SUED, and that’s, no worth it, and for what?  A little, EXTRA, cash???

No, that won’t be correct, as the latter can only be, achieved if you’d, mastered the former, the values that came from, the previous, experiences, meaning, that the destinations are only, meaningful, if you’d, undergone the process, the passages to get there.

So, the process, is WAY more important that the, results, as that should be the, rule of thumb on things, only, that despite how we know, the process being, more important, we still all, got used to, focusing on the final, results, and, lost sight of, what’s, truly, important in, life.

The lips aren’t what moves in the DDP, on all of DDP’s policies too, discriminations are, everywhere.  During the pandemic, all of the children of the foreign spouses are allowed into the country, only the children of Chinese spouses were, banned.  From being out-of-power to coming into power, the DPP shot the distant voting means down completely, said that it was because they didn’t TRUST the Taiwanese businesspersons in China, but, in turn, it’d discriminated against ALL the citizens living out of the country.  And, to get the atmosphere of “Chinese influencing the elections”, they’d, listed the spouses from China as a scapegoat to check; the TPP wanted to nominate Hsu as a candidate for the legislature unspecified district, before that ever got into the paperwork process, it was, shot down.

Four years ago, the presidential elections, “Grandma Shuju”, Chen worded out her support for Han, the supporters of the DDP started, passing the words of “Elderly with deteriorated judgment”, “elderly is too easily fooled”.  And this time, the younger generations stopped voting DDP, “banning TikTok” became the primary goals of the DDP, believing, that “the younger generations are most easily, brainwashed”.  Four years ago, they’d discriminated against the elderly, and now, they’re, discriminating against the younger generations, for the sole reasons of these people, no longer, in support of, the DDP.

The DDP’s “Anti-Discrimination” claims, is a total, JOKE!  What DDP had been against all along, are those “who are against the DDP”.  If Wang was talking about another political party, the DDP should probably, applaud him, I suppose!

So, this is how this corrupt, AUTHORITARIAN political party, is now, showing ITS, true colors in DISCRIMINATION, and the morality of this political party is completely, NONEXISTENT, as the political party only CARED about getting its support in the votes higher up, disregarding how they’d, ABUSED we the people, taking away our voices, our rights, and they will, rule for, FOUR more years, as authoritarian DICTATORS over this, god damn, “country” (oh yeah, this is no longer one!) of “ours”, because we are, too, FUCKING retarded, voting this, corrupt party into, office, again.

The Grandfather Who’d Made His Grandchild His Favorite Food

The joys of grandparenthood, as this man skipped out on his parental responsibilities in his own children’s coming of age, and now, he’s making up for the years, caring for his own, young grandchild…translated…

The egg noodles aren’t noodles, that was, a finger food of my young grandson’s.

Mixing the eggs into liquid form, then, frying the liquid into an egg pancake, then, slice the pancake into noodle strands, that was, his favorite, snack, it’s also, grandpa’s, thoughtfulness for him.

Grandpa wasn’t an agile cook, but, frying up the egg noodles, he’d, fried the eggs to perfect, sliced the egg pieces to linear, and my young grandson loved his personal, cook, always, gobbled the foods up in a jiffy.  And, every time my young grandson wanted the egg noodles, his grandfather, immediately, answered his call.

After my husband became a grandfather, he’d, changed his long-term habit of after the retirement, glued onto the laptop screens, and started, shouldering the responsibilities of caring for our young grandson.  From the third months since he was born, he’d flown to the U.S. to help my son out, he’d gone back and forth.  Making the formulas, bathing, diapers……he’d become, so very, skillful, as he worked around the house, he’d, kept his eyes on the monitor screen, every time the baby moved, he’d, immediately, dropped what he was doing, and ran to check up on him.

My husband became, perfectly gentle soon as he became a grandfather, played with his young grandson often, although, he’d not used the baby talks, but it was surely, the most, gentle, most, wonderful sound, it’d made me feel, that it was, better to be born as his grandson, than his own, son, and I was, in awe, at the power my grandson exerted, over him.

My young grandson started crawling, and, it’d made grandpa more agile in cleaning the floors then.  As he was vacuuming the floors, our young grandson would get curious, and followed around.  And, grandpa had, carried the grandson in his arms, and, used only one arm to operate the vacuum, and in the end, he’d had, inflamed joints on his wrists and elbows.  But, grandfather loved grandson, and would become whatever his young grandson asked him to, become.

We’d been married almost forty years, and, we’d become, the opposing political parties whenever we’d interacted, but, we shared one thing, cherishing our young grandson.

My grandson is now, a year eight months old, grandpa is immersed in the satisfaction of having a grandson to play with.  Taking him to the parks to dig up the sand, to watch the birds, to play on the sets………everything he did with my grandson, was so full of, energy, look at how loving he was, so filled with, bliss, it’s, as if, his paternal loving instincts, finally, got awakened.

I’d loved my husband, as he’d started caring for our young grandson.  Making the sliced eggs, he was motivated, wouldn’t procrastinate.  Our cute grandson became our source of communication, and in the unknown, this grandpa, seemed to have, reawakened that child within, grew, younger many years.

And so, this is, the becoming of a M-A-N, from his earlier years of being a father, BIOLOGICALLY, as he’d only, CONTRIBUTED that SPERM to the P-O-T, when his children were younger, he was focused on bringing in the bucks, and now, as he’d grown older, he’d, started, settling back, into his role of a parent, not to his own young, as his children are all grown, but to, care for his own, young, grandchild…which is, a HELL of a LOT, easier, compared to, raising and parenting, your own, offspring, because, as grandparents, you get to, SPOIL and LOVE your grandkids, however you want to, leave the discipline to their, parents, all you gotta do is, to play with them.

The Path Back to, Childhood

They played together, grew up together, and now, he’s, at his, younger brother’s, funeral…translated…

Childhood is, an odd sort of a, place.

On my father’s pickup truck, riding toward Hualien, I had two feelings, one, I didn’t know what my father in the driver’s seat, was chatting with my mother on the passenger’s side about, what are they, seeing together, and, the other feel, leaving, Taichung.

Back when I still couldn’t decide where I wanted to go yet, during the summer breaks and winter breaks, I was, always, sent to my maternal grandparents’ in Hualien, and every time we left as a whole family from Taichung, the adults would say, “we’re, returning back to Hualien”; while every time we left from Hualien back to Taichung, they would state, “let’s go back to Taichung!”

And for a very long time, which way is “back” for real, I’d become, totally, confused, on.

My father’s pickup was a 1.75 ton small pickup, after setting it up, it’s roomy enough for a twin-sized mattress, the pillows, the quilts, the snacks, the comic books, and the barf bags, with a small light bulb hung downward, if you pull the tarp down, latched it up, then, it’d looked like, a comfy, small suite.  But it actually, wasn’t, there’s NO air from the inside, not too much to look at, and there was, that scent of, diesel from the engines that transpired in the air.

Back then, the trip back to Hualien or the return to Taichung, it was, too difficult for me, I’d had to, go for rounds of feeling carsick, and barf, several times.

The tarp needed to get latched tightly on, my father told us, that if the truck was moving, we can’t, lift it up, and I’d, always, worked my hardest to sleep the way, waking up, falling asleep until I was, wide, awake and can’t sleep for another, wink, the truck is still, running on the, roads, and I had, no idea where I, was then.

Until the truck ran across the train tracks close to my grandmother’s home, my father would then, slow the truck down, that was, a sign of our, arriving to the destination, no matter what, at this time, I’d, always, waken up, and my younger brother would, run out of, any certain field that belonged to the locals out, chasing behind, the truck, calling out to me loudly.

There’s that, long expected feel of excitement, and a sort of a, familiar to his voice, along with, a kind of fatigue, that I didn’t know how to, put into words as a child, yet.

Hearing my younger brother called out to me, then, I’d, lifted up the tarp then.

He’d only arrived a few short days earlier, and became, a country-raised boy, his vest, shorts, were covered in dirt and mud, barefoot, black in the face, even the knees, were too black they’d resembled that of two coals, only his grins that showed his teeth were, completely, white.

He would chase after the truck, and called out loud, and my father would slow his pickup down considerably, and, as the car started, operating slower than the ox, my younger brother would climb onboard, and sometimes, I’d, automatically, leapt from the truck.  He would pull on me excitedly, told me of the hens that lay the eggs inside grandma’s chicken coup, told me where he’d gone in the fields to dig up all those, yams, told me how many popsicles are left inside the freezer, told me how many fish he’d caught yesterday in the creeks.  Then, I’d, behaved like a city kid, first, afraid of getting the dirt all over me, didn’t DARE to touch, to step in various parts of the land, but shortly afterwards I’d, turned into, that wild one, taken my shoes off, started, running fast through the farm, and, my knees would get, blacker than his two knees.

I can only imagine, that my face was, also, black then too, and, as I’d grinned, my teeth would appear, especially, white, it’s just that I can’t see my self, I only saw, my younger brother.

He was only two years younger, half of his face looked like mine, half of his face, looked like, him, seeing the grins on my younger brother, it was like, seeing, half of my own, childhood.

Later we grew up, and, spread out, started on our, individual, lifepaths, and, we would meet up from time to time, but, never run together, we’d, rarely, headed back to, Hualien together.

I always remembered his grins as he chased after the pickup.

It was, WAY better than that photo of him on his, funeral.

This younger brother, who came two years later than I did, seemed to, rush to, go back, then suddenly, he, did.

During the funeral, I’d, recited the Buddhist verses for him, and, the Buddhist master hosting his funeral kept beating the wooden knocker, in the space, the sounds were, so busy, there’s, no ventilation whatsoever.

After the rituals were over, the noises still, echoed inside my brains, I couldn’t, get rid of the, sounds.  On the way back to the parking lot by foot, suddenly I’d felt, so alone, I really wanted to hear something, so I’d, started, “the sound of the chants, the verses filled up my head now.”

“Same here”, says my young.

Originally, they were all, straight-faced, then, they’d started, chuckling, then, grinning, I’d made myself laugh too then.

Leaving childhood, it’s such a, difficult, journey, and you will, NEVER find your ways back, after you’d, left.

So, this is how you’d, lost your childhood, your brother was a metaphor of what your childhood was about, playing in the wild fields, doing all those, things that wild children do, you’d basically had a, childhood in the wilderness with your younger brother as your companion playmate, and now that he’s gone, you’d, lost your only connection, the only association you have of your own, childhood years, and you’d, become, an adult, all of a sudden.  As that’s, the effects of loss, it makes us all, grow up, in a, split, second.

After the Sexual Assault Case He’d Lost, He Had Another Accusation, and the Amount the Courts Mandated Him to Pay the Author is Seven Hundred Million Dollars at Her Asking, Trump Said it Was Laughable, & that He will Appeal

Jean Carroll who won the suit against the former president, Trump on sexual assault charges, sued Trump again for libel and slander, the jury seven males, two females of the New York Manhattan Federal Court found on the 26^th that Trump will be paying the woman $83.3 million U.S. (roughly about $2.63 billion N.T.s).  Soon as the verdict came out, Trump stated that he will be fighting for an appeal.

The eighty-year-old Carroll as she’d walked out of the courthouse on the 26^th, didn’t say a word, only issued a statement through her publicist, that this is a huge victory, for all the women who’d been, beaten down then, stood, back up again, that this is a huge defeat for ALL the bullies who’d tried to step on women. 

Carroll accused Trump of sexually assaulting her in 1996, while Trump had been, using social media to discredit Carroll.  The United Press reported, that this verdict, was too costly for Trump in his libeling and slandering against Carroll.

In the memoir published by Carroll in 2019, she’d claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Trump in a fitting room in the Bergdorf Goodman.  The Federal Court Jury found Trump guilty of the act, and stated he must pay Carroll five million dollars.  Trump stated he was innocent, and that he will fight for an appeal, and called Carroll out for lying, and spreading rumors, and Carroll sued him for libel and slander for another $12 million.

As Carroll her the jury read the verdict, she’d clenched tightly to her attorney’s hand, as the amount Trump needed to pay, she’d smiled, and a few minutes afterwards, she’d cried and hugged her team of lawyers.

On the twenty-sixth, Trump appeared earlier at the court, but, as the attorney of Carroll started the closing arguments, he’d gotten up to leave.  Until his own attorney started his closing arguments, did Trump return back to court, as the jury was deliberating, Trump was sitting in court.  Thirty minutes before the jury came out with the verdict, Trump left the courthouse.  After the verdict came out, Trump issued the statement, criticizing the case as “Definitely laughable”, “our justice system had lost control, and it’d been used as a political tool now”.

Another civil case of Trump’s is also, pending the verdict.  He was suspected of falsely reporting the cost of his properties to evade taxes to mislead the banks as well as the insurance agencies two years ago, the head of district attorney’s office in New York, Leticia James charged him on banking fraud in civil court, the D.A. asked him to return the profits of $370 million he’d made illegally.

Whether or not Trump has enough money to deal with the multiple civil suits he is now facing charges in, caused the news media to wonder.  Based off of report, the deadline for the fiscal accounting year in June, 2021, was the latest of the financial records that the news media press got of Trump’s financials, and it’d shown, that he had a total of $294 million in cash, along with belongings.

Trump did NOT appear in court for Carroll’s first case against him, to which, Trump said he was regrettable that he didn’t show, insisted on taking the stand at the second case against him by Carroll, but on the twenty-fifth, he’d only taken the stands for no more than three minutes, then, stepped down.

And so, this LOSER is now, charged with assault, libel and slander, and, with these many cases up his ass, the U.S. still, did NOT disqualify him from running for, presidency?  That just showed, how STUPID the American public, the justice system are (no offense, but as I said, feel free to take TONS!), and, this still just showed, how this, businessman will do WHATEVER it takes, to get himself on the stage, for his, grand performance, because let’s face it, he’s, totally, ADDICTED to the SPOTLIGHT, just look at how he took the stand, if you can find a video of him, getting called onto the stand, and you, FUCKING (so???) stupid AMERICANS, still want him as your, president?  Yeah, the U.S. can, sink to HELL now all right!!!
