There Had Been Forty-One Large Scale Massacres in the U.S., with the Media Slowly Stopping to Pay Attention, an All-Time High of Thirty-Three Cases, with the Media, Leveling Off Their Attention

What exactly, IS the cause of this “hike”, waive aside the second amendment rights, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

Before the year 2019 is about to be over, the Associated Press posted its statistic findings on massacres, and it showed, that the cases of larger scale massacres had reached an all-time high in American history, with the primary weapons of assault used being guns.

The large scale massacre, by definition, is a massacre of more than four deaths, not counting the shooter.  The old record was the thirty-eight cases back in 2006, and this year, there had been, forty-one large scale massacres across the U.S., with over 211 fatalities, and of these, thirty-three were gun related.

Although the large scale murders in U.S. had reached an all-time high this year, but the fatalities still fell short of 2017.  Back then, there were, 224 who’d died, the massacre at the concert in Las Vegas, was by far, the most serious massacre in U.S. history.

There’s, another trend, most of the larger-scale massacres are, no longer under the attention of the media anymore, unless, the murders happened in public, then, it would, get the needed, airtime.

The numbers also showed, that the shooters of these massacres knew their victims, and the motives of the shootings are usually related to family disputes, drugs, gang violence, or the conflicts between coworkers, and relatives and friends.  But there were, the motives of some cases that still need to get cleared, for instance, at the start of the year, a 42-year-old man from Oregon hacked his own mother, stepfather, his girlfriend, and nine-months-old young daughter to death, and was shot to death by the police, and, the police still can’t find the motives of his murdering his next-of-kin.

Guns are the weapons that had caused the most number of deaths, and there were the hatchets, the machetes, and the arsons.

The professor of criminology from the University of Minnesota believed, that these large-scale massacres are, “contagious”, the more frequently occurring they are, there would be, more cases like them.

And so, violence breeds violence is what this showed, and, because there’s NO ban on the right to own gun (second amendment, anyone???), and, a lot of Americans are, gun-loving people, that’s why, there are, many cases, and especially now, how easily people crack, that’s why, there is, this influx of larger scale massacres this year.

versus gun control…查看來源圖片image from online

Plucking These Numbers

The philosophies, from an everyday, encounter, translated…

“If you stand beneath the fig tree, I’ll, see you.”

“If you see me, then, I shall, go with god.”

“Do you believe?”

“I absolutely, DO, and I absolutely, DON’T, either way, I shall have my, freedom.”

“There are too many places that squirrels buried those nuts, and the worst case scenario, if a squirrel forgets, then, a walnut tree will start growing from the ground up.”

“I shall go with God to the walnut tree.”

“How can you believe what I say?”

“Because you’re, smiling.”

“I’m not smiling, I’m, a flower.”

And so, this, is how easily, you can, be fooled, into believe something that someone claims, because you lacked that strong sense of your selves…you start following that “leader”, with the blindfolds on!

Meeting My Daughter Who Ran Away, a Poem

On accepting death, finally, translated…

She is My Daughter

But She, Ran Away

Perhaps, it’s the Wind, the Night Skies

The Stars, the Clouds, the Sunsets Tempting Her on

The River Flowed, the Grasses Grew

I Don’t Know How to, Call Her Back

She was My Daughter of the Past

Born, into the Night, Forgotten, by Sunrise

She was, Never, Returned to My Side

Only Left a Letter, at that High Tower of the Ancient Times

Under the Mulberry Tree, with One Solitary Leaf Fallen Beneath it

Before, the Hooves of, a Fatigued, Steed

Maybe Time had, Never, Left

But, I’d Not Seen Her at Chang-An, Nor Taipei

The Galaxies on the Posters, in the, Nighttime Skies

My Dreams, Premeditated, an Everlasting Dance

My Daughter Who’d, Left, Did She, Venture from the Life Before, to the Next Life Already

What is She Doing Now

As the Rain Falls, the Pond Pretending to be Asleep

That White-Feathered Bird with Its Wings, Damp, Flew Across the Skies

Those Pieces of Driftwood Stood, on the Distant Mountains

Walking Down the, Unknown Paths, Did She, Hear My Calls Out to Her

From Afar

And so, this, is on death, the narrator had lost his child, and, perhaps, she’d died, just a few days after birth, but, no matter how brief the time the man had with her, he’d, already, loved her very much, and, this poem, is his process of, letting her go.

The Deceased

Translated…

The Wind and Rain Suddenly Came in the Middle of the Nights

Hacked Hard, at the Boards in the Backyard.  As Dawn Breaks, the Sun, Seeped Through, the Cracks of the Windows

First, it was, Cohen, with His, Lower Voice, Gone, then, Wanda and Her Smiles Too.  I Was, Once Like, Their Child, Growing in Their, Happiness.  They’d, Left Some of Whom They Loved Behind, on the Vinyl Players, Some, Oxidized with the DVDs, Some, Can’t Even Remember Themselves, Slowly, Dissipated, into the Air, Touching Those Strangers they Meet on Occasions.

As My Son Lay on Me Before He Drifts to Sleep, He’d Wanted Me to be a Boat.  To Rock, to Sway Singing on, How Much Longer, Can I, Carry You?  The Small Boat Has its Own Paths, to Sail, to Vanish.  But, I Shall, Return, I Shall, Keep on, Rocking You, Be it Rain or Wind, or that, Soundless, Sunshine Through Your Windows.

And this, is on death, on how we can, keep those we’d lost in our minds, and they’re not, really gone away, after all, NOBODY can, escape, death, because you were, born once!

The Judge Unbuttoned Himself, Asked His Female Assistant for a Massage, the Judiciary Review Recommended that He Gets Taken Off the Bench

Abuse of power, occurring, again, I’m, afraid!  Just because you’re, in a STATUS of power, that does NOT give you the right, to DEMAND these sorts of, sexual favors from your, female subordinates, L-O-S-E-R!!!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The district court justice of Hsinchu, Wu as he worked in the trial judge of the civil courts locally, he’d not only demanded his assistant handle his private affairs, he’d also, forced the female assistant to massage, to help him with fixing up his achy body, as she’d turned him down, he’d, pressured her, the justice review committee found, that Wu had, abused his power, sexually harassed, that he was, no longer, fitted to reside as a judge, they’d, decided to put him up for a review at the Examination Department, recommended that he gets taken off of his judgeship.

This was, the third case of how a court justice using his status of power, lacking gender equality sense after the cases of the former justice, Chen’s sexually harassing his female assistant, and the former judge, Chen of the Shihlin District Courts commending how his female employee had a perfect cleavage, then, showed off his own pecs to her.  This year in August, Wu was sent for an evaluation of his being fit as a justice of the courts by the Hsinchu District Court Systems, and he was, relieved of his duties as a court justice.

The judiciary review committee stated, that while Wu worked as a trial judge, he’d asked his assistant to take care of his personal affairs on and off hours, including sending his clothes to the cleaners, helping his children find a tutor, planning his family vacations, to find properties, and to go see the properties she’d recommended to him, and because of Wu’s status as a court justice, the assistant was afraid, of losing her job, and so, she’d, done as he’d, asked her to.

From last August to this March, Wu asked his female assistant, to give him a massage on how he wasn’t, feeling well between last August to this March, four times; in the process, he’d, shut the doors and windows, took his clothes off in front of his female assistant, she felt insulted and uncomfortable, later on, she’d started, turning down his requests, but Wu told her, “there are others here”, and demanded that he kept, using the boards to scrape out his internal injuries.

victims no longer silenced 的圖片結果from this…in the shadows…photo from online

Then, the female assistant stopped complying, Wu got angered, and stopped showing her the courtesy on the job for an entire month, he’d, used his status, to pressure her.  What’s more outrageous was, Wu also, asked his coworkers to check off the lists of good looking female employees, and during office hours, he’d, asked them into his office one by one, to inquire them about their relationship statuses.

As the Hsinchu District Court was examining the facts of the case, Wu privately contacted the many women he’d made the requests to, coached them to lie.  The justice evaluation committee believed, that Wu had, broken the boundaries of interacting with his opposite sex coworkers and subordinates, that he was suspected of sexual harassment, and as a justice of the courts, he knew the law, and broken it.

The justice evaluation committee believed, that Wu abused his power, and appointed the court clerk, the justice’s assistants, to run personal errands for him, and he’d not taken into considerations the feelings of his female assistants, after they’d denied his requests of them, he’d, used his status, to pressure them, that as he was questions, he’d, not introspected on what he’d done wrong, instead, he’d, used his status as a judge to pressure those who are questioned, he’d, become, ill-fitted, to serve as a court justices, they’re, recommending his removal from judgeship.

This losers should be, FIRED, than charged, CRIMINALLY for sexual harassments, I mean, just because there are, women who worked for you, that does NOT mean that you get to, treat them like whores, and besides, you’re, a COURT justice, and you should’ve, known better, but, guess you just, can’t, control your DICK, huh?  And you DESERVE to get stripped of your position as a court justice, and, throw in jail for what you put your female subordinates through, and just because we women work for you men, that does NOT mean, that you can, use us, as WHORES!!!

The Season of the Frost

As death, slowly, takes over, the living, translated…

The afternoon sun came in, from the southwest side, the light that weren’t, blocked out, by the house next door, slanted down, lazily, imprinted itself, onto the patio, reflecting the rhombus pattern of the screen door, her black cat, Charcoal lay, on that patch of sun that’s, on the ground, it seemed, that he was, unwilling, to leave that spot.

As she stared, at this frame, there came, the eyes of that elderly woman, the elderly face was, so thin, with the deepening of the wrinkles on her face, her skin, dark in complexion, very thin in its, layer, with one eye, slanted, and the eye that stared at people, it’d, looked, extremely, delicate, with the corner lifted upward.  Maybe, back when the elderly was a younger woman, she was, beautiful, it’s just, that the year drifted too far away from her now, and, she’s not related to her, and so, she can, only, make her own guesses on her.

what that, looked, like…查看來源圖片photo found online

She’s, a caretaker, taking the shifts from the night previous.  The elderly woman is close to eighty years of age, not even forty kilograms in weight, quite weak in physique, and even so, she’d still, insisted on, taking herself to the bathrooms.  She’d, taken into considerations her stature, and wanted to allow the elderly to have what’s left of her own, dignity, she’d, allowed the elderly, to lean on her, and took her to the bathroom, and, as the night got deeper, she’d, made the trips, many more times.  The elderly always, sat on the toilet a long time, and, as she helped her back into bed, she could hear the elderly pant like a dog.  As the nurse saw, she’d, grilled her, to NOT help her go to the bathrooms again, that she could just, let the elderly go in her diapers.  Later she’d, taken care of the diapers’ worth of brownish, sticky material.  As the families learned of this, they’d told, that in these recent ten days, the woman lacked an appetite, and didn’t eat anything when they took her home, only had the liquid nutritional drinks, how can she expel so much waste.  As she heard, her heart went colder, and reminded the families in a round and about way, that they need to be, prepared.  What she couldn’t tell them was, please, take your mother home with you, so the high tech devices, don’t drag her life out for longer than it should’ve, lasted.

As the elderly woman was lying there, she’d, used her delicate eyes, asked, “Miss, can you please give me some medications, that I can take, and just, die.”  Then, “I’m going to find my dad now.” And from time to time, she’d, hung her head down low, held tight to her tiny achy frame, mumbled on, “I’m going to die”.

As the day broke, the families came by, the elderly started grilling them, “are you, leaving me here, to die?”, her children were about fifty or sixty years of age, looked honest enough, but without a clue, and, as they’d heard their mother’s questions, they’d, seemed, helpless, rebutted, “We sent you here to get better, how can we leave you here, to die?”  the nurse told the families to go outside, she’d watched the loved ones, nodded away like bobbleheads, they started, writing something down on a sheet of paper that the nurses handed them.

this, is what the end, might, look like…查看來源圖片photo from online

At around noon, the medical staff, suddenly, gathered around in the room.  The families, as well as she, were, ushered outside.  In a panic, the elderly had, multiple tubes going in and out of her body: the trachea, the feeding tubes through the nose, connected to the stomach, the catheter, the drips, with some tranquilizer, the elderly lost consciousness, with the oxygen mask over her face, the assortments of drips on the poles, then, the entire bed, got wheeled off, into the I.C.U.

She received a day’s worth of nurse’s pays, dragged out her luggage, walked, on the golden sun rays of the season of the frost, as the golden sunshine was about, to get off the clock.

As she arrived home, there were the cats, and no humans around, her kids had all grown up and left home, her husband no longer alive.  She’d put a kettle on, gone to pick the two sticks of chamomiles out in her yard, on lemon grass, three leaves of mint, made it, into a cup of, lightly, sweetened, light green solution.  As she’d, found her calm again, she’d recalled, a patient she couldn’t, let go of as she was being trained as a caretaker, it was, also, an elderly of eighty or ninety years of age, she’d helped turned him over in the bed, and, as she’d touched his body, she’d found, that the man was, so stiffened up, that he’d, looked like a curled up shrimp, most of the patients she worked for, as she’d helped them flip over, would sigh, and yelp, but this elderly man, is a dead body, with just, one breath left inside of him, like a cookie, she’d turned him, left, and then, right, no response, there’s, no changes in the lines on his body, or posture, he’d, stuck on the hospital bed, and it’s, actually, abandonment, in the name, of terminal care, how long had it been, since someone, helped moved his muscles?  Otherwise, how could he be, so stiff?  And yet, the people around him, they’re sliding on their cell phones, eating their meals, and just, busying themselves, around, and about.

The sun had, retracted, to a corner on the lanai now, the rhombus shaped pattern now, gone, Charcoal hopped, into her lap.  She’d, patted that body of color, Charcoal started, purring at her.  The elderly with the corners of the eyes lifting upward, your wings of youth had already been, put up, stored away, inside, that long hallway of time, without all those, tubes to keep you alive, hmmmmmmmmm, it’s, hard to, say.————She took a small sip of the light scent, then asked Charcoal who’s in her lap, “the season of the frosts has arrived, do you know that?  And the days, go fast one by one, vanished, do you know, what a, good spot you were lying in awhile ago!”

And so, for this woman, in her line of work, she’d, seen it all, because she took care of the terminal patients, who are, on the verge of dying, and in taking care of these elderly, she’d, seen everything, from how the bodies are, no longer, capable of sustaining life on their own, of how the only thing that’s, keeping these bodies alive, are the machines, and tubes in the arms, connecting to the machines, and how the families refused, to let go of their elderly parents, and just, keep on, making them suffer even longer!

The Preventative Custody Amendments Looking into Placing Possible Arsonists, Rapists & Sexual Harassment Offenders Under Arrest

To protect the innocents, the could-be victims here, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The legislature here read aloud the “Criminal Charges Amendments” yesterday, and listed the “Preventative custodies” into the crimes that have a chance of reoccurring, including serial arsonists, the rapists, the repeated sexual offenders, after this amendment, in the futures, the district attorney will have a greater chance, of keeping the offenders in police custody, to make the society, a safer place to live in.

The justice department pointed out, that the amendment process is for the sake of two orders, toward the investigative officers, the district attorneys who cross-examined the criminals, to the judges and the various levels of the trial process, including the plaintiffs, the defendants, the witnesses, along with evidence holders, along with every person who’s involved in the cases, there had been, new regulations set up, including the ratios of having someone taken into custody without telling her/him beforehand that s/he will be, arrested, and the mandatory requirements of having the individual, her/his family, along with the attorney of the defendants’ choosing present at the arrest.

And so, this, is considered, a huge step forward in human rights, the government is taking into considerations the rights of someone who’s being arrested, and finally, Taiwan is, slowly, catching up, to the human rights, compared to the other nations of the world now, and let’s just hope, that this doesn’t just work in theory here!

When You’d Become, the Sum of My Parts

When you’d become, the sum of my parts, I can’t, do without you, I’d become, totally, completely, hooked (woe would be me!!!).  When you’d become, the sum of my parts, we’d become, too intertwined, too, mingled together, like those balls of yarns that those kittens played with, without the supervisions of humans?  They end up, tangled up completely, unmanageable.

When you’d become, the sum of my parts, it would be, super, duper hard, for me, to live without you, I’d grown, to rely on you, for every single one of my needs, and yet, you don’t, give me any, and so, I shall, die…

what that, looked like…查看來源圖片and it’s, still NOTHING good!  Photo from online

When you’d become, the sum of my parts, nothing’s, interchangeable, I gotta, have you in my life, or else, I will, die, I can’t even, go a second, without you on my mind, what am I, supposed to do, I think about you when I’m awake, and dream of you, when I sleep at night.

When you’d become, the sum of my parts, I’m destined, to get, SCREWED over, which is why, I’m now, working, too hard, to make SURE, that you don’t become, the sum of any part of who I turn out to be!

When you’d become, the sum of my parts, well, let’s see, how it’ll end, and I gotta feelin’: it ain’t, gonna end well, not for me one bit, and yet, I can’t, map out my brand new path, my path is, too entangled, with yours now………

The Anti-Social Personalities Easily Straying Off of the Wrong Paths in Life

Here’s a little history of the suspect, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The arson suspect, Tseng who burned down the home for elderly, was suspected of having antisocial personality, the scholars pointed out, that those with antisocial personality traits are impulsive in behaviors, lacking moral conscience, can’t abide by the law; and when s/he hurt others, s/he feels, nothing at all; the psychiatrist, Huang said, that the antisocial personalities are related to the people’s upbringing.

The professor from the crime prevention major of Zhongzhen University, Cheng stated, that antisocial personality disorder needed to be formally diagnosed by a psychiatrist, with the observation of the individual’s behaviors for over six months, for the diagnosis to be confirmed.

The assistant general manager of the VMH in Taichung, the psychiatrist, Huang, stated, that most of the antisocial traits were made by the interaction with one’s own external environments, in the process of coming of age, the person can’t learn how to interact with others correctly, to solve the problems that s/he encounters in life, and often resorted, to the most extreme of all measures, using physical assault, and violence, which made people fear them.

And so, this, is made by nurture, because of your upbringing, you’d, become antisocial, or maybe, a predisposing of the antisocial personality traits are needed, either way, these people are, ticking time bombs in the societies, and you don’t know when they’re all going, KA-BOOM!!!
