Forty Students Sent into the Police Station, Not One Parent Came to Claim Them

What the students need, other than being taught right from wrong, is the companionship of, adults, and yet, the parents don’t take the time these days, which is why there are, too many problems with the adolescents committing the crimes in the world that we are currently living in…off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

A Hand, to Become Someone Who Makes a Difference in the Life of a Child

In the cases of teenage students I’m recently overseeing, there was a group of teens of about thirty, forty, after school, took the weapons and “met up for a confrontation” at a park close to the school, as the school was notified, they’d called the police, and the police arrested all who were there to the substation, and after they’d interrogated these minors, the station notified the parents to come and taken their children home, but, not a single parent of the students showed, and in the end, the school’s disciplinary official and the teachers of the classes of these students stayed with them into the late of night.  Clearly, the family functions and the responsibilities of disciplining these students are, completely, lost, and everything is shouldered by the schools.

These high-risk students, other than the school’s “three levels of counseling” system, in the school unit I work in, there’s also the combination of the collective system of counseling of the local counties and city as well, pushing forth the “Volunteer Counseling program for youth”, using the resources from out of the schools, to make up for the lacking of the family functioning in these, at-risk teens’ lives.  While, all of the volunteers with backgrounds in education, and trained professionally, through the repeated contacts, close interactions, visiting of the students, slowly, establishing the trusts, and followed up on the individual, cases.  I’d even led the students to the hiking trips up the mountains, to trek across the mountain ranges that cut across the island, to swim across the Sun-Moon Lagoon, to help these kids achieve what was originally, “impossible dreams” to them, through the repeated encouragement, helping them tapping into their potentials, to help them prove to themselves, that “I can do it too!”

And these children I watched over are now, all, grown ups, there was a child who’s high-risk whom I’d guided, contacted me via Facebook, and sent a wedding invitation to me, told me, “Disciplinary official, I’m getting married soon!”, I’m truly proud of him, and for myself too, because he’d finally found a patch of blue sky that’s solely, his, own, found his own confidence, and  his sense of self, as well as the direction in his own, life.

What’s most precious is, the kids will always remember, in the time when he was lost, standing on the edge of that cliff, the person who’s willing to, give him a hand, to prevent him from falling off, the person who’s willing to, walk beside him.

This showed the importance of companionship in the children’s lives, and yet, modern day parents busied themselves, making the money, providing the tuitions for schools for their children, without realizing, that children NEED YOU (stupid adults, because you are too FUCKING retarded, parents!), to BE there with them, to stay by their side, to offer them the emotional support that they desperately needed, and yet, how many of you parents can say that, you’d, provided just that for your children through the years???  Exactly.
