Ten Members of the Police Department Called in to Interrogation for the Disclosure of the Busts

Police officials, breaking the L-A-W, because of the false promises of “big bucks”, so totally, NOT worth it, but hey, money is still WHAT makes this world go around, so it’s easy, for even these, law enforcement officials, to turn, bad…off of the Newspapers, translated…

The police department of Taipei received a tip last year, that the Datong Substation Backup Squad officer, Lee was suspected of disclosing the personal information of the unlawful, to allow the violence debt collection rings to use the data, acted as the tipster for the illegal rings, yesterday morning, the police searched and called Lee and more than ten other police officials in for question, to find the flows of the illegal funds, at first, Lee denied his involvement, and the case after police interrogation, is going towards the direction of gambling, disclosures of private data, and other charges.

The police investigated, that the Taipei City Police Department received a tip, that the fifty-year-old officer, Lee from the backup squad in Datong Substation, had been in collusion with the illegal operators, and, the station immediately asked the Taipei D.A.’s Office to investigate the matter, the supervisor office of the police department, the city police’s superintendent, the Taipei Detective Squad and the Datong Substation all worked the case to investigate, at nine in the morn yesterday, Lee and other officers’ offices and homes were searched, there were more than ten individuals called in for questioning.

Based off of understanding, Lee denied the allegations, but the intel pointed, that Lee had been dating a Vietnamese woman, Ng long term, and Ng was the head of the illegal ring, and the ring operated the illegal gambling websites, allowing the Vietnamese citizens to place the bets, and the organization also gave loans to the Vietnamese citizens, if the debts can’t be paid, then Lee had looked up the personal data for Ng, to allow for the violent debt collection means, Lee also acted as the “gatekeeper” for the ring long-term, to cover up the illegal activities.

The ring abused the Vietnamese citizens, and the grade of operations increased under Lee’s covering, but, because of the splitting up of the earnings not getting settled, there were the disputes, and only last year, those in the inside disclosed this to the police, and the police, the district attorneys stepped in immediately to investigate.

The illegal funds were passed around, yesterday morn, the Taipei Police had sent the squads to Taipei, Hsinbei, and Taoyuan, confiscated the documents of the Vietnamese citizens, the checks, etc., interviewed more than ten to clarify the flows of the funds, and today, all the suspects are going to get sent into the D.A.’s Office on gambling, invasion of privacy, disclosures of secret, loan shark, etc., etc., etc.

Last year in May, the investigators found that the substation manager, Yeh of the Ningxia Substation of Datong Subprecinct, involved in feeding the information to the case of “Taiwanese version of Cambodian human trafficking ring”, shocking the society, the Shihlin District Court a while ago, sentenced Yen to fourteen years eight months on bribe, money laundering, forgery, and other charges, yesterday, the patrol officers from Datong Substation got taken in for disclosing of personal information, striking that nerve again.  The police stressed, that the case will be worked, impartially and justly, if there are illegal behaviors found, the punishments on the officers will be very, severe, and they will be, firing the unfitting patrol officers.

So, there’s that need of, that clean sweep, of ALL those, immoral officers who are taking the bribes, and yet, this is still, fixing the problem and not, preventing it.  And that just showed, how easy it is, for officers of the law, to break the law, because they know the law perfectly well, which made it that much, easier for them, to find the holes in the, systems.

The Taipei Police Department’s Liu, on a Five Hundred Thousand Dollars N.T. Bail for Harboring and Sheltering the Gambling and the Sex Trafficking Rings

Getting the bribes from the operators of the brothels, the arcades that are, operating as illegal gambling means, and you all still got bought, way too, easily, see how money can, make the world, go around???  If you got the money, and the means, basically, you can, bribe anybody to do ANYTHING for you, and that, is what this case teaches us, but, you’ll get caught, and pay even, bigger a, price, so, it still wouldn’t be, worth it!!!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Taipei City Councilman’s Office Manager, Lin, Listed as a Defendant in the Case of Offering the Bribes

Charges of fraud had been brought against the former and current office manager, Chang and Lin of the KMT city councilman, Yeh, both had been accused of having investment dealings with seven sex massage parlors, bars, and the electronic arcades, through the middlemen, or delivering the cash themselves, bribing the sergeant of Songshan Police Susbtation of Taipei City Police, Liu, to get the heads up on the raids before they occur, the investigative bureau conducted a raid, called thirty-six law enforcement officials in to question, the Taipei D.A.’s Office interrogated Liu overnight, and charged him on encroachment, bribery, and other counts, set his bail for half a million dollars N.T., and put him on flight restrictions.

As for Chang, after the D.A. interviewed him, they’d found him to not have any involvement in the illegal businesses, for now, and was changed to a witness, as opposed to a defendant that he was originally listed as, Lin continued being charged as a defendant in bribing the police, both were sent home after the interrogations; the operators of the sex massage parlor, Wang, out on a bail of $400,000N.T.s, Tsai on a $300,000N.T. bail, Hsu on $200,000N.T. bail, and Hsu on a $100,000N.T. bail; the other fourteen operators, with the bail of amount of anywhere from $10,000N.T. to $80,000N.T.s, and seven other employees, sent home after they were all, interviewed.

and the end result??? Tried and, found, GUILTY, and, sentenced to serve the, time…photo from online

Based off of understanding, the operators of the sex massage parlors admitted to paying Liu off, and the investigators based off of the total amount being handed off, believed there were, more than one police patrol officer who’d, taken the bribes, and will expand their investigations to see if it’s a collective case of encroachment, at the same time, they’re figuring out, who the main boss behind all of these, sex rings was.

And so, this still just showed, how EASILY, these law enforcement officials can be, bought, with a few hundred thousand dollars, they are looking the other way, for these, illegal sex trade, these gambling arcades to, continue, running, and this is, really, bad!

Six Officers from the Haishan Substation Involved in Illegal Gambling, with the Illegal Gambling Ring Searched, and All Were Interrogated

You all were officers of the LAW, and should BE, enforcing the laws, but you were, enticed by money…knowing the law AND committing the crimes, police taking the bribes, the corruption of the law enforcement officials, off of the Newspapers, translated…

Six officers of Haishan Substation of the Hsinbei Police Department were suspected of harboring the illegal mahjong gambling rings, became a snitch for the rings, or had illegally looked into individual citizens’ personal data, two nights ago late in the nights, the Hsinbei D.A.’s Office led the raids, and conducted a search of the station where the officers worked, and had more than ten individuals involved in the gambling rings, and other witnesses to testify, the district attorneys are interviewing the individuals overnight.

Based off of understanding, of the six involved law enforcement officers, the highest ranked as a sergeant, Chen, he and another patrol officer, Lin not only frequently showed up in Banciao, Hsinbei and Sanchong to the underground mahjong casinos, were also suspected of letting the operators of the illegal gambling rings when the police would come for the unannounced searches, so the operators could, transfer the evidence to an alternative location to continue operating the gambling rings, then the officers would get paid off, the officers were found to have been involved in accepting bribes, and other, felonies.

The sergeant, Chen who’s fifty-three worked in the police forces for over thirty years, he was prosecuted for gambling in the illegal baseball bets, but at the start of the year, the charges were dropped due to insufficient evidence, this time, he’d been found to have covered up for the underground mahjong gambling rings, gave the operators heads up when the police is coming, he is once again, listed as a coconspirator.

The substation stated, the Chen is a law enforcement officer, knew the law, broken it, he’d become, unfitted as a police officer, if the district attorneys have him taken into custody, then, the office will use the means of write-ups, and terminating his position with the police forces, and go after the evaluators of his work performances.

The rest of the four officers, Chang, Chuang, Hsu and Hsiao, were all in suspicion of using police power to look up personal data without just cause, after the district attorneys interrogated them, Chang and Chuang were out on bails of $30,000N.T.s each, Hsu and Hsiao, sent back.  Currently, the preliminary investigations showed that the four officers were involved in accepting bribes, but the police department will dig deeper, to find out the motives, and the purpose of the four officers’ using the police powers to look up the personal data.

The city police stated, the case is on the decency of the officers, that as the police found out, they’d notified the Hsinbei D.A.’s Office to oversee the investigation proceedings, if the officers had broken the law, they will, be punished.

So, the motive would be money here, and, that just showed, how easily people CAN and WILL be, bought, that no matter how honest, how morally responsible an officer you think you are, chances are, you can’t say no to the cash.
