Based off of understanding, as Han filed the harassment reports with the police station in Taipei, the city’s police took the case, then, transferred the case to the Hsinbei Sanchong police where Han lives to investigate.  The police department of Hsinbei City found that it was the patrol officer, Huang in the Fourth Substation in Taichung, and had him come to the station, after investigating, the police confirmed the stalking charges, and gave the officer a written warning; the Taichung Police issued a warning reprimand for Huang, transferred him to another unit to work, and listed him as an “individual of concern”, kept him on “file”.

Lately, Huang returned to his former ways, started sending Han gifts, again, two days ago, she’d gone to the Changtai Substation of Sanchong Police Subprecinct, and pressed charges of harassment against Huang.

Based off of understanding, as the officer heard Han told what happened to her, the officer on the case found that Huang made no physical contact with Han personally, that he’d only sent her items and had texted her long-term, and after reviewing the contents of the texts he’d sent, believed that the charges of sexual harassment wouldn’t, stand.

But in the preliminary investigations of the police, Huang had been warned and repeated harassed Han, and Han’s case of stalking was then on file, the officers assisted Han in getting a restraining order, and as Han asked, they’d taken her statement on the sexual harassment complaints, and sent it into the Hsinbei City government to review, and will be calling Huang in to explain his actions, and the charge of stalking is, now, filed.

On Han’s questioning of how the police handled her complaints, the fourth substation in Taichung stated, that last year after the investigation of the Sanchong Substation, it’d been confirmed that the officer’s behaviors constitute as stalking, and he was issued a written warning.

Toward Han’s complaints toward Huang on sexual harassment, and stalking, the Fourth pointed out, they will wait until the investigation is completed, and make Huang take responsibilities for his own actions, listing him as an officer to get taken off the rosters if needed.

Because the very first time the complaint had been filed by this woman, nothing was done, she’d had to, file the complaints in another city, until she was finally, taken seriously, and then, the case against the officer who went overboard got taken, seriously, and that still just showed, how the anti-stalking laws does SHIT, to STOP these sorts of harassments, these unwanted advances by someone, and until legal actions were taken, it won’t stop, and sometimes, even IF the legal actions were taken, these sorts of bad behavior still, keeps going, because these laws only works in THEORY!

He is put in charge of the cases involving suicides, domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, and psychological disorders, he was of the highest managerial status in the department, yet, he’d used the easy access of the data, first, he’d looked up the personal data of the adolescent girl who was listed as an individual of concern, after he’d added her to his LINE account, he’d made her believe that he was someone who has a hold of her sexually lewd photos, and, as she’d agreed to meet at a hotel with him, he’d successfully, sexually assaulted, her.

After the case blew wide open, He was fired immediately from the Department of Sanitations, the Kaohsiung D.A.’s Office finished investigating the case, and prosecuted him on charges of government employee opportunistic forced sexual behaviors toward an adolescent, asked for ten and a half years in prison for him, because He had a history of abusing his access of personal data, there’s the beliefs of there were more than one adolescent female victimized, but the courts allowed He to be released on a $200,000N.T. bail.

Lee, the KMT city councilwoman posted on her FB, that the “guardian” who should’ve been the core foundation of the net of security in the city of Kaohsiung, used his work status, abused the public database systems, targeted the underage minor females from the lower economic statuses, lured her, and had successfully sexually assaulted her, that He was the most malicious of criminals.

Lee questioned, that the case happened in June of last year, with the victim reporting it to the police, and by August was when the sanitations department had fired He, then nothing!  The entire government department had fallen silent about the case for a whole six months, didn’t hold a press conference to tell the public what had happened, and the progresses of the investigations, had it not been the D.A.’s indictment being pressed, the news media exposure, was the department just going to act like, nothing happened?

The legislator, Lin also told, that this incident showed, how there are the holes in the security nets of the society, that this should be alarming to all, that if there were other victims, they should, come out as well.

And so, this is, how this thing spiraled out of, control, and had the executive secretary of the city’s sanitation offices not gotten busted, the abuse may continue longer, with more victims getting covered up.  This still just showed how the systems are flawed, which is why the sexual assault of these victims who are the cases of the social services gets, covered up.

My Not-Quite In-Laws

How you and her families met because of your kids’ relationships, and, despite how the kids broke up, you are still, staying, connected, with the possibilities of being in-laws in your, futures…translated…

My youngest son met a girl in high school, when they were dating, they interacted very, closely with each other.  They would go to our houses to visit, to dine too, we and her parents both have nothing but the best wishes for the young, couple, the girl’s mother even started noting my son as her future, son-in-law.

Because we take our son to the girl’s home, bumping into her parents, we’d shared the, greetings, we’d interacted quite well with one another, and we all have great views of our children’s futures, together.  Later, the girl was accepted to a university out of district, my son stayed in Hualien, to prepare for to take his college entrance again.  Maybe, it’s because the distances that’s in-between them now, with the varied experiences of life that they were having, they’d grown, apart, to ultimately, breaking, up.  We and her parents felt ashamed, her mother even noted my son as her “almost son-in-law”.

Despite how the kids no longer interacted with one another, the adults’ connections, stayed.  First we were reconnected because of the exercises, later, due to our shared life experiences, how our personalities were, similar to one another’s, we’d grown, closer to each other.  Especially of late, the girl’s mom and I would, use the apps to see how each other is doing, and we’d, given one another presents, visited one another’s, homes, from the not-quite in-laws, we’d become, good friends who tell each other everything, this was, not what either one of us had, expected.

That day, we’d gone out from lunch together, we’d talked about our kids’ relationship, how they are right now, their shared, friends, had a wonderful lunch together.  After lunch, we went to her older sister’s to visit, what’s coincidental was, her older sister’s daughter was a former student of, mine, while my youngest son, had already been, “pre-approved” by her older sister and older brother-in-law, we hit it off, although it was the very first time I’d visited them, it’d felt we’d been, friends, forever.,

We hope that our kids can reconnect with each other, to pick up from where they’d, left of, as for whether or not this will happen, none of us, know for sure, but one thing’s for certain, our friendships, connections with each other, will be, everlasting.

So, this is, how interesting affinity is, you lost your prospective future in-laws, because your children broke up, but, here comes, another, chance, for the two families to reconnect again, and whether or not it will happen, if your children will marry, it’s up to fate to tell.  But one thing’s for sure, you had established that friendship with the family already, and that will, not get, broken!

We’re in No, Hurry

The long stroll home, picking up her granddaughter from her preschool, everything happened serendipitously, everything is, unplanned, so everything they encountered is new and, exciting, translated…

The retired and young children, have nothing but time on their, hands.

My granddaughter, Domee, who’s a little over five years old and I stood on the escalator of the MRT stations, despite how the bulletin in the station had “you can stand on both side of the escalator, with the sign of “hold tight to the railing, steady your foothold”, there were still those who tried to, surpass us from behind, “excuse me!  Excuse me!”  Domee got close to me immediately, to make way for those who wanted to pass through more, quickly, and was still bumped into by those hurrying past, without an apology to her.

“Grandma, why are they all running?  They’re not steadying their foothold, they’re, misbehaving!”  She’d patted where she was bumped into, where she, hurt, and I’d attempted to explain to her: they’re all chasing time, to get home soon, which is reasonable.  Maybe they’re rushing to make the suppers, pick up their young to cram school, to meet somebody important………”, she seemed to understand, more or less, then she’d, asked me, “then, aren’t we too, in a, rush as, well?”

No, we’re not, in a rush, I’d, assured her.  Switch from the route we were on, to another at Taipei Main Station, the afterwork crowd was rushing on, if this station is completely cramped up with passengers, then we wait for the next one to come, or, can get off at Zhongshan Station early, to take our, walk back for a short bit, until the afternoon rush subsided, then, we shall, take the train home.

Domee offered no objections, so I’d taken her to the most literary underground shopping strip, all the way, we’d, looked around for the books, the two of us had found separate treasures for our, selves then, grabbed a book each, situated ourselves down, to get immersed in reading.  Who cares if it’s scorching hot outside, of if it’s a total, downpour out the door?  The underpass shopping strip is equipped with the air-conditioning, with the foods and drinks we get to, choose from if we wanted.  At the Jazz Plaza, a lot of adolescents were, dancing b-bop in front of the mirrors, Domee wanted to join in, she’d danced and sweated like, crazy then, with grandma, me, like the “Grandma of a star” handing the water bottle to her, the towel too.  Then she’d lifted her head that’s red to me, stated, “I want a mirror like this in my bedroom too.”  I knew that it was only for the moment’s enthusiasm, so I’d, gave her a, perfunctory, “We’ll see!”

The water alone, is only for her, thirst, and we’d, come across the bakery then, she’d pulled her grandma, in to shop.  The flash mob shop had the cookies about to expire on sale, we’d, pushed our way through inside, grabbed all that we could, get our hands, on.  Passed by the children’s clothing, toy stores, the curiosity took my granddaughter over, “I will have that when I grow up”, “I want this”, she’d not had a dollar in her pocket, and yet, she’d, shopped the whole strip, grabbed the items that caught her eyes down, with my, “okay, we’ll see, later!”, the five-year-old was sold on the, empty promises too easily.  But when we got to the Gacha vending machines, she’d, halted, and I’d had to, fake my crying bouts, and got her to, concede, and she’d, fallen for my false pretenses, then, continued, walking along with me.  And as we came across an ice cream shop, even grandma could no longer, say no, and, I’d, magically, made the bills appeared out of my, pockets then.

After a whole hour, we’d only arrived to the Taipei Main Station, with both of us, completely, tired, out already.  Even if we’re not in a hurry, we shall not, torture our, fatigued legs and, feet then.  Besides, young Domee had spent her entire day at the preschool, and was, out of, energy, in desperate need of a, recharge now.  She tilted her head toward me, “Grandma, I want rice in gravy tonight, with bunny’s favorite, carrots, and the meats that crows loved too!” her personal chef, I, with zest stated to her, “Yes my love!”, and this time, I hadn’t, given her the, runaround then.

In the sunset years of my life, with not much I need to do, with my young granddaughter by my side, who can, ask for, more?

And so, this is, how your life is, centered around caring for your young granddaughter, and it gives you something to do, now that you’re, retired, and, you’re, making memories with her, and she will, love you for it!

My neighbor, the ninety-three year-old Grandpa Chang, had been able-bodied and agile, and had taken his walks to the local parks morning and evening. 

Awhile back, he’d tripped from a tree branch and fallen, as he was hospitalized, they found that he had a stroke, Grandma Chang being elderly herself, couldn’t care for him alone, so they’d hired a nurse’s aide from Indonesia to look after him.

The nurse’s aide’s name is Li, her last employer had just passed away, and was available, so the agency had her come to their home to work.  Li is gentle and caring toward the elders she’d looked, after, as Grandpa Chang returned home, he wasn’t sleeping because of the pains, so he’d, apologized to her profusely, for keeping her up through the nights too.  To which Li always responded, “Grandpa, it’s no trouble at all, this is what I’m hired to do!”

And, as she saw that grandpa Chang slept through the days, she’d sat beside him, asked him to tell her stories, or she’d, sung the songs in Indonesian to him, hoping she could, tire him out during the daytime, so he could sleep more easily at night.  The elderly couple loved Li, and had asked the agency to allow them to keep her to continue to work for them.

Because Li’s arrival wasn’t scheduled, there’s no bed prepared for her ahead of time, the family set the foldout bed for her temporarily.  Grandpa felt it wouldn’t be right, and asked grandma to go out and purchase a bed for her, and yet, because grandma was too busy, she’d, forgotten.

A few days ago, Grandpa Chang died abruptly due to a cold he’d, contracted.  After he’d passed, Grandma Chang dreamed of him every single night, telling her, “Remember, to buy a comfortable bed for Li so she could get a good night’s rest every night.”  At first, Grandma Chang didn’t pay it enough attention, just felt that she was in a, daze, until for seven straight days she’d dreamed about Grandpa Chang continually, she’d finally taken Li to the furniture shop for her to select a bed for her, self.

The day the new bed was delivered, Grandma Chang told Li, “this is for you, from, grandpa”.

So, this may be interpreted by the woman as a message from her dead husband, but in reality, it may be her own mind, telling her to show gratitude to the hired nurse who helped her look after her husband before he passed, either way, this family treated their hired nurse’s aide with kindness, and more than likely, the hired nurse would return the kindness, by looking after the elderly woman, until she is assigned to another family.

As Central America Came Under, Attack…

As Central American came under, attack, the REST of the CIVILIZED (or maybe, the rest of the world became, Uncivilized, due to the KING’s influences already???) should DO SOMETHING, but they’re either, FROZEN in fear, because everybody knew that Trump is a, vengeful, spiteful person, that they’d all feared, retaliation if they spoke or stood up against him?  Central American countries came, under, attack, Venezuela is the first on the frontline of this, because it has the crude oil resources that Trump wants to get his hands on, and, the next, he’ll move upward (geographically???) toward PANAMA (or maybe he already struck a deal with the country already, who knows???), to take OVER the water passageways that connects this side of the Gulf of Mexico with the Atlantic O. (???, help me, ‘cuz my geography’s a bit, rusty here…), and, after these two MAJOR unwarranted, unjustified INVASIONS, using BULLSHITTING reasons, Trump would’ve controlled the WHOLE of America…mostly, I think.

And because he’s a glutton for power, he will stop at NOTHING to get ALL the power he wants to gain, and the rest of the world can only, watch, as the global planet gets swallowed WHOLE by the PSYCHOPATHIC, GOD (that is, what Trump believes himself to, be, you DO realize that, don’t you???).

Venezuela is only, one of the many, NOBODIES that we don’t give a flying FUCK about, ‘cuz we don’t live there (well, for those of you who do, my CONDOLENCES!), until the Divided States of Trump invades into all of our, territories, then, we start, giving that FUCK, because then, this MAJOR PROBLEM is landing HIS sorry ASS in our, backyard (maybe he enters through the front, like he owned the “places”, who knows???)………

How do you meddle into other countries’ internal affairs, like who they’ll elect as their president, so you can pull the strings, and control everything that’s, going on over “there” (wherever THERE may, be…), while staying isolated???  You DO realize, that you’re, walking that oxymoronic (maybe it’s just the MORON part without the “oxy” portion to it!) tightrope, huh?

How do you meddle in other countries’ internal affairs, like the COUP you’d, ORDERED against VENEZUELA, using the BAD lies of the “drug trades” of S. America, to start off the air raids, when in reality, it is COLOMBIA that’s WITH the “bad reps” of the drug lords?

How do you meddle in other countries’ internal affairs, keeping your hands clean of all the mess?  By MANIPULATING those idiotic (no offense) leaders of those LESSER countries (b/c you’re the BEST, right???) into believing, that doing things the way YOU want them to, IS what they wanted to do, originally, is that it?
