The Four Police Officers Who’d Planted the Guns to Make the Monthly Quota Sentenced to Prison Time

Just like how it is in sales, when you needed a certain number of clients?  So, apparently, the police officers needed to make a certain number of arrests too, huh?  Officers who KNOW the law, and broke it, for the sake of making that “sales marker” of the monthly quota here!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The former office manager, Wu, former sergeant, Ting, and three other officers of the Pingzen Substation of the Taoyuan Police Department, eight years ago, made a deal with the drug dealer, Liu, they’d wanted him to plant the guns into others’, in exchange for his “get-out-of-jail free card”, the Highest Court charged the officers on illegal search, setting a criminal free, along with being dishonest as a government employee, sentenced Wu and three others anywhere from five years four months to six years three months, case closed.  Before the D.A. started the bust, the officer, Wei Chen escaped to Canada, there’s currently an international arrest warrant on him right now.

In 2011, the spring safety review, the Pingzhen Substation ranked at the bottom, the following year, the officer, Ting got a hold of how Liu used a gun to commit robbery, in order to get the quotas of guns confiscated, on January 18^th, he and officers, Lee, Lin, Chen, headed to the suspect’s residence in Yangmei, Taoyuan, for a search without a valid warrant, and they only found illegal substances, and no guns; Liu worried that his girlfriend with an active warrant out on her arrest getting caught, he’d begged the officers to let them slide.

Lee told Liu, that the precinct is running short on gun busts, Liu promised to give them the tips, in exchange for his own and his girlfriend’s freedom, the police agreed to this “trade-off”, they’d not taken Liu into custody, and allowed him to take his girlfriend away.

The following day, Liu’s friend visited a man, Yeh, and stowed the guns and ammunition away inside the ceilings of Yeh’s factory, then he’d, notified the police to bust the man, and find the guns he’d stashed.

And so, this, is a quid pro quo, or a tit-for-tat, the police used their power, to threaten this drug dealer to help the police station make enough busts on guns, and because the drug dealer didn’t want to get arrested, he’d agreed, and, these officers broke the law, and they’re, supposed to, uphold, to carry out the law, and, they all deserved to be punished, more severely, than the average, common criminals, because they’re police officers!
