The Trump administration is opening new front against late-night comedy, announcing plans to enforce long-dormant rules on appearances on network talk shows.
Under new guidance released Wednesday, the Federal Communications Commission warned that entertainment-oriented talk shows carried on local television stations were required to offer candidates vying for the same office equal airtime.

The guidance was clearly aimed at the late-night hosts who frequently anger Donald Trump——Jimmy Kimmel of ABC, Stephen Colbert of CBS and Seth Meyers of NBC—and have in turn drawn scrutiny from FCC Chair Brendan Carr. But it would also cover daytime talk shows including another Trump target, “The View”.
The guidance addresses long-standing conservative complaints that the late-night shows have tilted too far to the left and are far more likely to have Democrats than Republicans as guests. It is in keeping with Carr’s yearlong campaign to use old and largely unenforced media regulations, known as the “public interest standard,” to crack down on the major networks for perceived bias.
In a statement, the FCC’s lone democratic commissioner, Anna Gomez, called the new guidance “an escalation in this FCC’s ongoing campaign to censor and control speech.” She added: “Broadcasters should not feel pressured to water down, sanitize or avoid critical coverage out of fear of regulatory retaliation.”
A conservative group that has led in bringing formal complaints at the FCC, the Center of American Rights, hailed the FCC announcement. Media experts on both sides of the ideological spectrum said it would make it easier for the group, and others, to bring complaints against the late night hosts and “The View.”
The guidance involves a “public interest” requirement that stations give rival candidates for office equal opportunities to buy ad time and appear on their airwaves. “Bona fide” news programming such as the evening newscasts is exempt from those rules.

The DDP insisted on turning the country into a no-nuclear powered island, but without a stable provisionary of electricity, it’d, shut down the nuclear power plants, and overdeveloped the solar energies, causing the shortages of electricity, and more frequent blackouts throughout the country, and there’d been many massive major power outages throughout the island in the past few years too, and the losses of money from businesses that were, immeasurable, impacting the people’s, ordinary, lives. The voters who supported the nonnuclear policies, are now, shouldering the karmic outcomes of rising cost of energy, and unstable electricity provisions. After Typhoon Danas, the damaged solar panels started stacking up the shores of southern Taiwan, destroying the ecology, and this is, self-inflicted.
In recent years, the criticism of the justice department became a subsidiary, flank to the DDP and the president grew louder in volume too. The justice system should be just and transparent in a, democracy, but the justice system under the control of the DDP became, a tool to silence and oppress the opposing party members.

On the relations with China, the DDP used a firm hand in interaction, showing that Taiwan is a self-governing country, but, the long-term defiance with Chinese government also, caused the tensions to grow in the region, elevating the risk of war.
Because the people made the wrong choice of leadership for the government, we have no other options, but to, shoulder the, consequences thereof. This is, the MOST practical side of, democracy. But the parties out of power also didn’t take this, lying down either, the DDP’s double-standards, only prosecuting the KMT but not the DDP members, dual-standards, the fairness of the Justice Department are already, in question, even the formerly noted as neutral Central Elections Commissions, and the NCC, how much credibility is left, in the people of these, agencies? No wonder as Lai invited the chairs of the parties out of power, he was blown off. The problem of lacking of trust between the pollical parties does not rest on the means of the two chairs of the parties out of power of executive office, even more and more of the followers of the DDP, the DDP favored news media, believed, that the parties can’t and won’t be able to, work together, it’s only natural, that the government led by Lai is, dejected.
The grand schemes of impeachment, and the anti-impeachment, nobody knows who will win out in the end, but the parties in conflict, would favor Xi most. In this process, the most pitiful are the locals who live at the bottom of the “food chain”, while the parties are in disputes between themselves, the government does NOT have the mind to pay to those who are in most need. If the president is willing, to visit the bottom more, and, he would hear of the trials of life of these living below the poverty lines, and would he still have the mind on scheming for the Grand Schemes of impeachments?

The party in power is completely, addicted to the means of the grand schemes of impeachment right now, only aimed at gaining more power, neglecting how difficult life is, for those in the lower end of the socioeconomic spectrum, if Lai really want to unite the country, safeguard democracy, he should, show some care and concerns toward the lowest on the totem pole? Whenever the KMT and TPP promoted, the majority of the farmers, they may vote against the impeachments of the legislators of the KMT.
Life is getting harder every day now, suicide returned as ten top cause of death of the people in the country last year. What’s more frightening is, the structures of the people who committed suicide shifted, the suicide rates of the age group of twenty-five to forty-five reached a historical, high, and this has to do with the work and economic pressures.

With Lai as our president, he didn’t do a thing right, the rate of marriage is sliding down, birth rate declined to an all-time low, can’t take care of the children, to the point of, committing suicide, and now, even the elderly farmers are losing their, livelihood too. It’s truly, hilarious that Lai is lecturing on unity, there’s a lot of “unity” that needed work on, for instance, working together with the younger generations, for a better future, helping people unite together, to take care of our livelihoods, but all of these, the president Lai, gave up, on.
And so, this is, HYPOCRISY, with the HARD EVIDENCE! Lai stated how he wants the country to band together, to fight off the “invaders” from out of the country (Commies!), but he’d, ripped this “country” (no longer one, NOT since Tsai’s REGIME!) apart, using his bullshits of stating how we all need to work together to better our country, and yet, he’d started, slicing and dicing the society to pieces underneath, and how the FUCK can we, possibly let this mother FUCKER (don’t pardon me!), who aimed at factioning up this country to reign his terror over us, huh?
Oh yeah, we can, because we’re all, too DEAD (getting UNPLUGGED here!!!) in our COMATOSE right now, and none of us are going to become “woke”, until the COMMIES land by those ropes onto the island, descending from the, fighter helicopters!
