Why did you come, if you’re going to, leave?  Why did you get married, if you’re, going to get, divorced, in the end?  I mean, what is, the point?

Why did you come, if you’re, going to, leave?  Because I’m that soft place to land for you, because I offer you some, needed, comfort that your wife/husband, couldn’t?  Because, I will, never, turn you, away?

Why did you come, if you’re, going to, leave?  Why even, bother about, signing that, contract of ‘til death, when it won’t be DEATH, that separates, the two of you?
