The local cases of the outbreaks of MERS-CoV hiked up suddenly after the Memorial Day holidays, the president held a strategic meeting on the preventions of the spread of MERS-CoV, and decided that “the goals for the severe cases, to reduce the number of confirmed contractions, and managing effectively those who are asymptomatic or lightly symptomatic”. She said, the goal is no “clearing the cases to none”, nor is it to “coexist with the virus”, but a “New Taiwan Mode” or tailoring the economy of the country, and getting the people’s lives back to normal. And yet, the day that followed her speech, there was a sharp rise in number of confirmed cases of contraction, and Chen admitted truthfully, “We will NEVER get the confirmed contraction cases down to nil, and we are walking towards ‘coexisting with the virus best as we can’”, which is a total SLAP against the “new Taiwanese Mode”.
I don’t have any comment toward the strategies of defense against the spread of MERS-CoV, but I have a ton of displease toward Tsai’s mode of coming up with the policies.

The rosters of that meeting, had only THREE experts of prevention of disease transmission, including the head of the CDC, Chen, and the nonexperts who were there included the vice president, Lai, the former vice president, Chen, the head of state, Su, and mayors of Taoyuan, Cheng, and Kaohsiung, Chen. This list, clearly not admitted the mayors of Taipei, Ke and of Hsinbei, Hou intentionally, meaning, that what is meant by the “new Taiwanese mode” is the “DDP’s singular defense against the spread of MERS-CoV.”
It’s a good thing, that the party in power was willing to shoulder ALL the responsibilities of the policies regarding the defenses against the spread of MERS-CoV, but, singling out the mayors of the two MOST populated, most complicated cases of confirmed contractions, keeping them out of the policy discussion forums of the defenses against the spread of MERS-CoV, clearly, it’s because of both of these mayors, parties, and, if there’s the reductions of effect of defense against the spread of MERS-CoV due to the party politics, the lives of the people, being threatened, weighs more heavily than the party in power taking responsibilities for the decisions of the policies.
The histories showed what happened when the country gets split, under two powers fighting for office.
Comparing to today, Tsai’s policies, are all centered around what’s benefiting the DDP most, she’d fought the other political parties like they were her archnemesis. And, if there’s a man who’s, excellent at what he does, for the good of the entire country, for the people, maybe, this man will still get, ostracized by the 1450 net armies of the DDP then.
And so, this is how the political party dictates everything here, not based off of the wills of the people, not based off of the welfare of we the people, the president and her party only cared about their own kind, those members of her party, and, she’d, cast everyone who’s not on her side, out of the pictures, and, we’d entered, into, the era of, being ruled by, tyranny here.
We are now, a people, enslaved here, or maybe, we’d long become, it’s just, that most of us are still, in that state of, comatose, hadn’t waken up yet…
