To get the key performance indicators passed for the votes of budget in military purchasing, Raymond F. Greene, the director of A.I.T. in Taipei is the most “active” lobbyist, not only was he willing to come before the Taiwanese Parliament to explain, he’d also, invited the legislators of KMT and TPP to conference, visiting the mayors of the six major cities in the country, he’d also stated, “freedom is not free of charge”. All of these were viewed as pressuring the Taiwanese government, the chairs and deputy chairs of the TPP and KMT said on their individual interviews, “Good is way too deeply involved in Taiwanese politics.”
Taiwan had always been “reliant on military in the U.S., with the market economy reliance on China”, the country continued to find that balancing point between the two major world powers, but this delicate balance, as the DDP took office a second time, after it’d begun the routes of defiance toward China, leaned completely toward the U.S.
Although there’s the changes in distance of relations between Taiwan, U.S. and China now, at least in the previous president, Tsai’s term, she’d still, maintained the “superficial peace” with China, but to the current government of Lai, the DDP had gone in the direct path of defiance toward the Chinese government now, cutting off all the ties Taiwan has with China, and placed all the country’s assets faithfully in the U.S. Toward U.S., Taiwan is in an inferior disposition originally, but more importantly, Taiwan had lost its “China card” that it could’ve originally played, and can only say yes to whatever the U.S. requested of the country, with NO room, no leverage for bargaining, or negotiations, this was apparent in the cases of military purchases, and the tariff rates.
On the Executive Department’s specialist military purchasing deal of $1.25 trillion, it didn’t matter if it’s the DDP, the KMT or the TPP, none of the political parties can say no to the demands of the U.S. in the purchases of military equipment, especially for the KMT and TPP who had multiple times, blocked the payment rules, the pressures of U.S. is enormous. But the chair of the TPP, Huang, in his interview by the UDN Papers, stated that before the details of the military purchasing budget had been reviewed thoroughly enough, the DDP is too eager to pass the specialist budget allocations, even the U.S. find this to be absurd; and stated that Raymond F. Green had gotten himself involved too deep into the internal affairs of Taiwan, that he’d put on a song and dance show with the head of state, Chol. This belief caused the ripple effects, and resonated with a lot of people in this country.
In January of last year, the American president Trump began his second term in office, when the citizens of this country started questioning the U.S., the head of state, Cho hammered down on the people, that “there will be no criticisms allowed”, that those who’d spread the doubts against the U.S. is aligning themselves with the Chinese Communists. Last April, Trump announced the reciprocal tariffs, to pressure all the countries in the world, the government led by Lai took everything in, continued to feign his compliances to the U.S., it’d incited the people to “doubt the U.S.” even more.
Other than weaponizing the tariffs, Trump also invaded into Venezuela, planned to take over Greenland, which tore the western countries’ alliances with the U.S. apart. Carney, the P.M. of Canada at the Davos stated that the middle power countries need to ally together, to combat the major world powers’ pressures and threats. Although Carney didn’t name Trump specifically, and his words gotten the applauses of the leaders of the countries that attended the conferences, he’d become another world leader that lead others to oppose Trump.
And under this preset, Huang’s blunt words, had caused such resonance; the deputy chair of the KMT, Hsiao stated later, that if the U.S. prided itself on being a democratic country, then, it needs to admit that the parties out of power of the presidency’s role as gatekeepers and supervising. In the past, maybe the people of this country only kept these feelings to ourselves, but ow, it’d been blurted out loud by the chair and deputy chair of the two parties out of power of the presidency, certainly, it’d, resonated with us all.
Although, Hsiao’s statement of Good is “only a tiny bit higher in status than the director” is improper, but the people of the country see Cho’s berating the parties out of power in front of the director of the A.I.T. And it’s exactly this sort of an attitude, his actions, that’s caused Huang and Hsiao’s truthful words, to gain the momentum.
What’s tragic, however is that as “doubts toward the U.S.” started resonating throughout the entire world, only the Lai government of the DDP of Taiwan, told the people not to doubt that we’re banned from doubting the, U.S.
And so, this is how, the DDP solidified “our” (still NOT a part of this “collective” here!) status as U.S.’s BITCH, and we still got one of the HIGHEST rates of tariffs, despite how the DDP government SUCKED up to the U.S.
So, what does that tell you about this minority elected president? How he has NO plans of fighting for the rights of the people of this SHITHOLE (this is one!) here!
