The Man Convicted of the Murder of His Girlfriend and Their Two Ten-Months-Old Twin Sons Wanted to Hide the Money, His Stashed Cash of $16.7 Million N.T.s Had Been Stolen from Him

The man, Chen from Changwha strangled his own girlfriend to death, and tossed his twin ten-months-old infant sons into the washer, suffocated them to death, the three lives he took, got him life in prison. Chen had inherited his mother’s farm, wanted to evade the restitution from the victims of the woman and her twin sons’ families, he’d had his cellmate, Lai to sell his lot for him, and to safekeep the amount of more than $16.7 million N.T.s he got for the land, but Lai had encroached the sums.  The Taichung District Court found Lai guilty on encroachment, sentenced him to two years four months.

Chen got upset over his girlfriend’s working as a call girl, on November 3^rd of 2019, he’d grown suspicious of her relations with her clients, after they got into a fight, he’d strangled her to death, afterwards, he’d tossed their twin sons into the washer/dryer, then, piled in the heavy quilts, smothered his own two young to death, after he’d murdered all three of them, he’d gone out with a friend to ease his own guilt; during the first and second trial, the courts sentenced him to death, the first retrial changed the death sentence to life term, last September, the Highest Court tossed back the appeals.

The investigators discovered, that Chen met Lai as he was serving time; in 2021, as Chen’s mother passed, Chen inherited the lot in Changwha and other assets his mother left behind, because the families of his victims asked for the restitutions, and he’d not wanted to pay, he’d wanted to “stash the money away”, Lai offered to help him sell off the lot and to keep watch over the sums, and had mailed $10,000N.T. per month as allowances to Chen in prison.  Chen agreed, Lai finished serving his time on April 26^th, 2022, he’d forged Chen’s older cousin’s signature sent the letters to the Taichung Holding, gotten the “Power-of-Attorney from prison” from Chen, and other needed documents, sold off Chen’s lot, the wired the sums of the sale to the account registered to Lai.

On July fifteenth of the same year, Lai went to the real estate agency, and sold off the farm lot that Chen had, inherited, and only mailed $40,000N.T. of the amount to Chen in prison, of the remaining $16.7 million N.T.s, he’d taken for himself, then lost contact; Chen hadn’t received money a long, long time, and realized that he’d been conned, and sued Lai.

During the trial, Lai denied the allegations of encroachment, claimed that Chen had him sell of the lot to stash the money away, that he’d asked him to invest the sums, hoping that the money would still be there when he got out, that all of it was signed off by Chen; the court assigned defense stated, that Lai had invested the amount into green wind-powered energy, that he hadn’t the intent to encroach the sums, that it wasn’t the result that Lai had hoped, that he got scammed for $10.3 million N.T.s.  But Chen said he’d NEVER asked Lai to invest for him, that he’d only had Lai keep the money safe for him.

The courts reviewed the letters exchanged between the two, Lai repeatedly mentioned of his “plans to hide the sums”, and claimed that he would watch out for Chen’s interests and benefits using the legally bounding means, setting up a trust, saving the sums, investing all carried, the various levels of, risks, based off of the testimonies of the friends and relatives, Lai had used the sums to pay off his own personal debts, and made many, purchases for himself.

The courts considered that Lai had encroached a total of over $16.7 million N.T.s, and mediated with Chen and agreed to pay him $1.2 million N.T.s, sentenced him to serve two years four months for the encroachment charges, another four months for forgeries, which he can pay the fines to the treasury to skip the time served.  This can still be appealed.

Yeah, you should NEVER trust anyone you meet in prison what are you, STUPID or something???  And, you’d handed over the huge sums of more than ten million dollars to a fellow CONVICT, and you’d lost out.

Insurance Scam: the Perp Soaked Both Legs in Dry Ice for Ten Hours, Received a Probationary Term, the Primary Suspect of the Scam Ring Sentenced to Six Months Confirmed

So, it still, was, totally, NOT worth it, I mean, you’d lost your legs, and you didn’t get a CENT from the insurance scams, and you’d become, handicapped, and you did it for what???  Measly (considering what this IDIOT had lost!) Liao had set up the insurance policies for his high school classmate, Chang, had Chang put his feet into a bucket of dry ice for ten hours, causing Chang’s amputations, and falsely filed it as an “frostbite accident from nighttime travels”, filed for the claims with five total insurance agencies, totaling up to $41.26 million N.T.s, and only received $230,000N.T.s from the claims.  The Taipei District Court sentenced Chang to two years in prison, two years probation for fraud and other charges; Liao on self-induced injuries, to commit fraud to six years, the Taiwan Highest Court tossed back Liao’s appeal yesterday, case is closed.

Chang and Liao were high school classmates, in college, Liao studied in courses of insurance claims, suggested to Chang to get an insurance plan.  On January 26^th, 2023, Liao rode out on his scooter to purchase dry ice in Sanchong, then returned back to his residence, tied Chang to a chair, had Chang soaked his feet in the plastic bucket where he’d poured in the dry ice.  Chang kept lifting his legs up due to the pains, Liao tied Chang down, and this lasted ten whole, hours, with Liao videotaping, photographing Chang.

On the midnight of the 28^th, Chang went to the E.R. at the MacKay Memorial Hospital in Taipei, on the sixth of the following month, he had to have his legs amputated off.  Liao went to the hospital to visit Chang in his stay, they’d concocted up the plan, to file for insurance claims with Fubon Insurance, China Insurance, Baocheng Insurance, Shinko Insurance, and AIA, five total insurance companies.

Fubon Insurance didn’t suspect anything, paid $230,000N.T. in insurance claims, with the rest of the insurance companies suspicious, and reported the two to Criminal Investigation Agency, the two admitted that they were committing insurance fraud.

Chang was amputated, had the prosthetics fitted, settled it with the insurance companies, and returned the sum he’d scammed Fubon Insurance, the Taipei District Court believed that he has something to help him get on the right track, gave him only probation.

Liao was upset of how much time he received, appealed.  The High Courts found, that during the first trial, the courts already considered all the facts, Liao’s admitting to his crimes, how he’d, caused his friend to get amputated, found him guilty on one count of committing fraud to scam, four attempted fraud, that six years was justified.

Plus Liao was, the mastermind in this, Chang couldn’t change the fact that he was amputated, and settled with the three insurance agencies afterwards, while Liao didn’t, the extent of crimes, the attitudes after the fact was different, tossed back the appeal of Liao’s.

And, because the ENABLER (there’s still NO victim, save maybe for the insurance companies that got, fooled???) went along with this, he ended up, getting AMPUTATED, and that was, considered, punishment enough (???), and he had, settled for a lesser amount with the three insurance companies he tried to, make the fraudulent claims with, so he only received a “minor” slap on the wrist in jail term, while his friend was the mastermind, that’s why he got the, heavier of the two sentence.

The Department of Police budgeted over twenty million dollars N.T.s, sent in the secret requests to the local substations, named the Black Bear Academy, Stronger Taiwan, and other groups to assist in helping to train the civilians to defend the country. The head of internal affairs, Liu was asked about this, and stated, that the recommendations of the Black Bear Academy is only for “local cities and counties references only”, that there’s no enforcing of the theories. Of course the plans hadn’t been, implemented, as the budgets are still being, reviewed over; if the parties out of power didn’t catch it in time, then, would it have, been stowed away and gotten passed into, law?

This is the standards to which the DDP cultivated its, sidewings: with the central government issuing the wills, the locals, assigning the specific organizations to implement, then, the local groups and the DDP-favored news media splitting up the “loot”. What catches the most attention was, the seminars offered by the Black Bear Academy: from the “growing our own food sources”, to the most fundamental first aid trainings, and seeking shelters, to the carnivals for the parents and children to attend, the fire drills, all of it seemed more, recreational, than, for the sake of our, survival training. This is confusing: why would functions like these need to be sponsored especially by the Black Bear Academy?
The times had changed, there’s the rising tension between Taiwan and China, and, surely, teaching the civilians to armor up, became, a good, lucrative, business. Problem being, WHY is the sponsorships of these programs allotted to The Black Bear Academy, and Forward Alliance League to host? And where’s the more practical fronts of aiming at rifle trainings, first-aid trainings, to fighting against the communist, all of which had been mandatory in the military training courses of the high schools, and the nursing courses. And now, the DDP rid the country of the basic military knowledge training, the nursing basics out of the high school curricula, and suddenly, found that protecting Taiwan against China is important, and began training the civilians? Getting rid of the mandatory military drill trainings in the high school level, then, squandering more public funds to train and charge the civilians to defend ourselves, the DDP surely knows, how to, make the money!

It is, laughable, for the students in school to learn the military fighting skills, but, compared to how the Black bears’ teaching of planting our own foods, dressing up our own injuries, paintball fights, and stated all of these as a part of the “civilian defense training program”, “to make the society more durable”, the military training sessions for the students in school is, way more, practical. The government had done away with the military trainings in the secondary education levels of high school studies, and now, because the DDP had incited war with China, and started, trying to arm the civilians to ready for war, the DDP is, so, ironic!
And so, there are, two ways to “dissect” this, that the DDP wants to make more money off of we the people, that’s why they’d planned to set up this, “blackbear academy” to train the civilians to learn the skills of basic military defense, and yet, this bullshitting academy, doesn’t have ANY lessons on how to defend ourselves WHEN the “commies” come, instead, it’d gotten turned into this, carnival, county fair with the fun and games shit, and, apparently, the DDP does NOT have its head SCREWED on correct, we’re headed straight into WAR, thanks to the provocation of the political party toward China, and, they’re training us, using county fair games? Yeah, how’s that for delusional, and yet, we’re still, allowing them to abuse the people, to FLUSH the taxpayers’ dollars into the DRAINAGE pipes like this, because we the people are now, ENSLAVED too hard, too lowly, to FIGHT BACK!
