Guess what we ended up doing? Kids in my class brought those decks of playing cards, and we started playing the games, and I think, maybe (can’t really recall now!), someone may have also, brought along some snacks, to “munch on”, and when the aerial alert for the drill being over sounded, we all covered up our eyes, our ears, our nostrils, and breathed through our, mouths.
And that was, the UN-realistic preparation the schools had for us, IN CASE of an invasion!

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the United States posted on the 29th, that the U.S.’s signing off on the massive military weapon sales to Taiwan is destroying the peace of Taiwanese Strait, sending a mistaken signal to the faction of those who promoted Taiwanese independence.
Trump had conferenced at Mar-a-Lago in Florida with the PM of Israel, Netanyahu on the 29th, in an interview, Trump stated, that Xi didn’t mention the military drill to him, but he’d noted the messages relating to it.
Trump stated, that he doesn’t believe Xi is going to invade Taiwan (I don’t believe he’s going to do it), he isn’t worried; for the past two decades, twenty-five years, China had been conducting the military drills in the Taiwanese Strait region, and there were the past military drills with larger scale than this one.

The Chinese Embassy in the United States posted, that U.S.’s allowing the massive number in military sales to Taiwan had brashly intervened with the internal affairs of China, had damaged the autonomy of China, destroyed the safety of China, and the wholeness of the Chinese territories, that it had damaged the peace between Taiwan and China, sending the wrong signals to the Taiwanese independents and the world.

The U.S. President Trump stated on the 29th, that the U.S. had attacked a pier in Venezuela where the drugs are stashed in the ships that were docked there. This is the very first known target of the U.S. hit in Venezuela territory as he’d begun pressuring the Venezuelan president, Maduro. CNN reported on the same day, that this attack was made by the C.I.A. using drones.
In the interview that aired on the 26th with Trump and Catsmatidis, there is a major factory or a large facility in Venezuela, where the transportation ships of the illegal substances were, from; “two days ago, we’d increased the arms to attack, there was a huge explosion”. But he didn’t state clearly which agency executed the attacks, nor the tactile used, only stated that the location of the hit is right next to the Venezuelan coastline.

On the 29th, Trump spoke in front of the press at Mar-a-Lago, that the pier where the major explosion happened was where they loaded the illegal substances getting shipped out, “we already attacked all the shipping boats, and now, we’re, attacking the loading piers too.” Experts pointed out, that the American military may be targeting the facilities of the drug cartels, for instance, harbors, ports, or, warehouses, because these cartels had been known to store the cocaine by the piers, then, shipping them elsewhere.
In the past couple of months, Trump had publicly hinted that he may order the invasions in South American countries, Venezuela or other countries. In October, he’d confirmed that he’d authorized the CIA to start the clandestine actions. But when he was asked on the 29th by the press, he’d only stated, “I know who did it, but I don’t want to tell.”
On the 30th, Bloomberg quoted an insider, that the majority of Venezuela’s crude oil resources is in the Orinoco Belt. Actually, whether or not the Communist Military has what it takes to actually militarily take over the island is weighed upon the complexity of military action assessment, the mental warfare signals, and the interactions with the politics within and out of the country.
First, it’s not a simple yes or no that if Communist Chinese military forces have what it takes to invade, but on the goals of invasion, and how much consequences if China invades can China, withstand. If by “military takeover” it means total takeover, total control, long-term governance over Taiwan, surely, there’s the, highly costing military, political and international consequences to consider; but if the goals are to restrictively control the military advances, elevating to the gray areas, blockade, the direct assault, or to force the political negotiations, then, the “abilities threshold” would reduce greatly, the means could no longer be defined, singly by amount of military power.
Secondly, as a leader of the country, openly stating that the opponent isn’t strong enough to take over the country, IS putting the country in harm’s, way. This sort of remark may help ease the people’s minds, stabilizing the support of those who supported the party, but at the same time, it’d sent the dangerous provocative messages to the out; of which, Beijing may interpret this as provocation, and elevate Taiwan into a political and military threat that forces the country to take actions against; second, our allies may question Taiwan’s management of sense of crises, and questioned that if Lai’s government is, underestimating the risks, and being, overly self-confident.

Third, in the logic of Lai’s using defiance, “national security” is used to mobilize the internality of the government, and not built on the basis of awareness of collective analyses of the risks. When our government stresses “defy China to protect Taiwan”, that China is considered a high threat to us, and on the other, claiming that “China doesn’t have enough forces to invade Taiwan”, this kind of ambiguity, can cause the society to get trapped in two extremes: either overly panicking, or, too relaxed, neither of which is beneficial to establishing a strong enough defense system.
Fourth, diminishing the “threats using the cost” but strengthening the “comparatives of the military abilities”. The successes in deterrence of the enemies is never set up on belittling the enemies’ abilities, but built on “even if you have what it takes, you wouldn’t dare attack, because you can’t withstand the consequences thereof”. Once the other side started using the military drills, the technical breakthroughs or a united movement to “prove that we can”, this “belittling of the enemies” will quickly go bust, causing our government to become passive in response.

Fifth, the team exposing the tactile misreading the time of attack due to the timing. The military advancement of us and China isn’t static but dynamic; the political declarations are putting all the bets of national security on “they don’t have what it takes to act against us”, this sort of a highly unknown preset. But history had shown, that wars never happen in the conditions of the countries being fully prepared for them, but when the emotional and political pressures intertwined.
Assessing if Communist Chinese military has what it takes to take over Taiwan by military forces, should be an issue of national security that is high in careful consideration and should be discussed in a lowkey manner. The president’s claims, rather than calling it a tactical consideration after assessing all the risk, it’s more of a method of mobilizing the conflicts from within the country. His insistence on not communicating with Beijing, overly confident that the disparity of Taiwanese military and Chinese military can be made up for with help from the U.S., this will cause U.S. to use that against us, and we would have to give whatever the United States ask.
Time isn’t on the president, Lai’s side. From how the president of Ukraine, Zelenskyy’s confident of the support from the European Union and the U.S., refusing to hold the conferences with Russia, causing the Russo-Ukrainian War, ripping up Zelenskyy’s fantasies; Ukraine is almost in complete ruins now, with the oligarchs of Kyiv already “enriching their own pockets” through the wartime purchasing already. The oligarchy of Taiwanese politics, and all of its “many different fields of work” is to, do the same, no wonder, that a tea salesperson is able to turn into a major, arms’ dealer.
And so, the dissections of how war will not benefit this “country”, with the precedence of Ukraine, showing that had Zelenskyy reached a negotiated peace with Russia, then the country would be spared from war, or rather, it wouldn’t be in ITS, current, position, with countries like U.S., striking it rich, making money off of selling the military weaponry (and imagine if all that fund goes to building up the country’s own resources of power plants, etc., etc., etc., how much better that could’ve, been for Ukraine???), and this god damn “country” (hello, stopped being one a very long time ago here!), is about to follow in Ukraine’s footsteps, with the DDP led Lai still, blindly trusting that Uncle Sam will save us from Communist Chinese invasion, and time is not on this country’s sides, as the countdown is still ongoing here, and the DDP president should think of how to reach a peaceable term of existence with China and Xi, but, no, he’s gunning at his trump card of “Taiwanese independence” which will ultimately, kill us all! Sunday at noon, my friend was rushing from her home in Taipei to a book promotion, she called her familiar cab pickup crew, the agency told there were no cabs available. She’d guessed that it may have been the Taipei Main Station random terrorist attack, causing the deaths, the injuries, and the widespread panic that’s caused many drivers to switch to the regular cab services. So she took the MRT, and got to the event on time.

As I was headed down to the underground level of Zhongshan Station, a gray-haired elderly woman was on her electric wheelchair, getting off, she was looking around, I thought she was waiting for the crowd to dissipate, at this time, a young mother was leading her child across, told the woman in the electric wheelchair, “the elevator’s over there.” Seeing the woman smiling, it’d dawned on me, she was, looking for the elevators.
About a month ago, I was on a no-vacant MRT train, an elderly woman came in, leaned against the door in malaise. A younger woman in her seat stood up, mentioned for the elderly to sit, but the older woman, she only smiled and didn’t move, the air froze around then. Later, the younger woman finally realized, I guess, she got to the older woman, steadied her arm, helped her to sit down. Turns out, the wonder woman wasn’t without the intentions to sitting, but was, afraid she might, fell as she moved across when the train was moving.
Although the MRT is steady, it still jostles, I saw that as a man was ready to sit, the train started moving, he’d almost, fallen, into the lap of a woman who was seated behind, him.
A couple of days later, I had the exact same thing happened to me. I was letting my seat to an elderly woman, with her timid, leaning against the door, didn’t dare to take a single step toward, me. So I got up, extended my arm out to her, she still didn’t dare reach, then I’d told her, “if we fall, we fall down together!” Then, she finally allowed me to lead her, toward where I was, sitting, to sit down, next to me.

This heart wrenching incident of the random attack on the MRT impacted the society as a, whole. With the news media report on how to avoid these contacts and what we can do to protect ourselves in these, situations. One of the recommendations given was, stop using the cell phones, so we can see the early signs of danger. And from day to day, if we don’t focus on using our cellphones when we’re on these public transportation, we can better notice, these, random acts of, kindness of strangers toward, each, other.
And so, this is, on how despite the world is so full of dangers, violence, and all that’s bad, there are, these smaller, barely noticeable, random acts of kindness of, strangers, that can, brighten up everybody’s life. There surely are a ton of bad things going on, and that became the focal point of the news, while these good news, of random strangers, helping strangers, they don’t get recognized as much. If the world can start noticing the good, instead of the bad more, then, the world will be more, positive, and we are all, taking part in this, because we can offer our hand to help someone out.

Since the 28th, Myanmar started up the three stages, by district elections. This was the first election since the military takeover to overturn the people’s elected government in February, 2021, with the last major election in November of 2020.
There are the three stages, other than the first stage of voting that was on the twenty-eighth, the second and third stages will happen on January 11th and January 25th of next year. There are a total of about 5,000 candidates from fifty-seven parties fighting for the seats in the lower and upper parliamentary council, then the elected will then nominate a new president to set up a new, government.

Because there’s the civil war in Myanmar the last five years, the military government hadn’t gained control over all regions of the country, and so, out of the 330 districts in Myanmar, there were only 265 allowed to vote, the calculations of the votes, and the results posting had yet to be, determined.
The military government claimed, that the elections can “restart” the politics and economy in Myanmar. The voters stated, that there’s the reduction of passions of the candidates campaigning compared to the past, but there’s no news of the military’s forcing people to cast their votes. It is predicted, that the USDP is expected to come out on top.
The scholar from the Kasetsart University told that the USDP is led by a retired admiral, and has about a-fifth of the total number of candidates. She also told, that the goals of the military government’s pushing for the elections are to have the military to continue its control over the government, that the USDP and the other parties may untie themselves into an underground government.
The higher up of U.N. Human Rights Council suspects that there’s no credibility, no freedom, no fairness in the election results, especially when the parties and candidates who are against the military governments aren’t in the elections, the lists of candidates are believed to have been selected with care by the military government regime. The military government also stated, that there would be up to a ten year prison sentence for those who protest, criticize against this major election.
Aung San Suu Kyi, the former leader of the National League for Democracy led the party to victory in the last election, her party was overthrown in February, 2021 by the military, she is still held in custody to date, and the NLD had dissolved too, her son, Alex told Reuters this month, that he’d not heard from his mother for many years, he worries that she may already be dead.
And so, this is how the regime change works, you lead a group, overthrown the current government, you became the ruler of the country, and someone else from another party led the masses to overthrow you, and you get jailed, and that is how it goes, and, elections are rigged in these developing (we don’t call these third-world anymore!) countries, for the sole purpose of the ones in power, keeping themselves in power of the government, of course there’s NO credibility of the election here, because everything is controlled by one party!
How the COURTS are kidnapped by the Executive Branch of our government, in the political party’s attempt to overturn the legislatures passed by their opposing parties…off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The constitutional order of the Republic of China is heading into that realm of, chaos right now, the one in power screamed loudly “a greater democracy”, but is actually, destroying democracy, shredding up our, constitution. In the setting of having five grand justices only, that doesn’t make the legal regulatory, the grand justices illegally declared the amendment for “constitutional claims law” unconstitutional, this is, stripping the legislature of its right to enact laws. The originally neutral constitutional court that has the ultimate right to rule if the bills are lawful, is now, held hostage by the political party. “The five-man court” became the breach of the imbalances of the constitutional legislative power; the president, Lai had, instilled his own will into the means, the Republic of China turned into the “Republic of Lai’s Will” now.
Looking through all the steps that took us up to here, the constitution getting destroyed, there’s the shadows of Lai and his will. For instance, how the head of Executive Department, Cho had weaponized the countersigning of the bills, he’d denied the validity of the legislations passed by the parliament, to announcing the founding basis for him not signing the legislation into law; although, he’d preached of the separation of powers, the democratic procedures, there’s no founding basis that’s constitutionally valid in his not signing. Cho’s only excuse, was off of how Lai called out to the legislators all gathering in then conference rooms, and ordered, that signing or not, signing but not implementing, is unconstitutional.
And, the five grand justices’ claiming the “constitutional claims” as unconstitutional, with the other three grand justices’ commenting that the evaluations of which, the decisions are, without founding basis of the law, that it is unconstitutional from the very start. The major fraction of the Constitutional Court, with the grand justices denying one another’s opinions on the bills, “one constitution, with each justice interpreting it individually, independently of one another.”, not only is this a civil war of the justice department, it’s also a microcosm of the political opposition of this country. But if the media press’s exposing that the Presidential Office’s having the higher up of the DDP to “talk to” Tsai, one of the grand justice on the bench, this showed how the executive branch had already, dipped its hands into the justice department. It’s no wonder that the outside realms questioned, that there’s the political forces, manipulating the executive and judiciary branches of our, government right now.
What is ironic is, on the Constitutional Enactment Day, there’s no public office that commemorated the occasion, only Lai, using the occasion to, harshly criticize the parties out of power of the presidential and executive offices, if you can’t even pass the budget bill in a timely fashion, what right have to, do talk about the policies? But the Executive department refuses to budget the fundings of wage increase for the military servicemen, the guarantees of retirement pensions of police and firefighters, and was against the stop cutting back of the annual wages of the school instructors, no wonder the legislature couldn’t pass the budget bill; the executive department refusing to enact the laws passed by the legislature, but blamed the parties out of power of the executive offices of government as unqualified to talk of policies. Lai used the subvert logic to get himself off the hooks, and scapegoated the responsibilities of the dissipating of the policies to the parties out of power.
The disputes of the Constitutional Courts, showed the same sort of a wayward logic: Lai’s unwilling to nominate the grand justices who are neutral, but blamed the parties out of power, for paralyzing the constitutional courts.
The “Five Man Rule” showed their loyalties to the party, Lai is trying to flip the situation of the DDP’s losing power in the legislature, the amendments that were passed by the legislature, the “court of five” overturns. The constitutional order of the Republic of China is heading into that realm of, chaos right now, the one in power screamed loudly “a greater democracy”, but is actually, destroying democracy, shredding up our, constitution. In the setting of having five grand justices only, that doesn’t make the legal regulatory, the grand justices illegally declared the amendment for “constitutional claims law” unconstitutional, this is, stripping the legislature of its right to enact laws. The originally neutral constitutional court that has the ultimate right to rule if the bills are lawful, is now, held hostage by the political party. “The five-man court” became the breach of the imbalances of the constitutional legislative power; the president, Lai had, instilled his own will into the means, the Republic of China turned into the “Republic of Lai’s Will” now.
Looking through all the steps that took us up to here, the constitution getting destroyed, there’s the shadows of Lai and his will. For instance, how the head of Executive Department, Cho had weaponized the countersigning of the bills, he’d denied the validity of the legislations passed by the parliament, to announcing the founding basis for him not signing the legislation into law; although, he’d preached of the separation of powers, the democratic procedures, there’s no founding basis that’s constitutionally valid in his not signing. Cho’s only excuse, was off of how Lai called out to the legislators all gathering in then conference rooms, and ordered, that signing or not, signing but not implementing, is unconstitutional.

And, the five grand justices’ claiming the “constitutional claims” as unconstitutional, with the other three grand justices’ commenting that the evaluations of which, the decisions are, without founding basis of the law, that it is unconstitutional from the very start. The major fraction of the Constitutional Court, with the grand justices denying one another’s opinions on the bills, “one constitution, with each justice interpreting it individually, independently of one another.”, not only is this a civil war of the justice department, it’s also a microcosm of the political opposition of this country. But if the media press’s exposing that the Presidential Office’s having the higher up of the DDP to “talk to” Tsai, one of the grand justice on the bench, this showed how the executive branch had already, dipped its hands into the justice department. It’s no wonder that the outside realms questioned, that there’s the political forces, manipulating the executive and judiciary branches of our, government right now.
What is ironic is, on the Constitutional Enactment Day, there’s no public office that commemorated the occasion, only Lai, using the occasion to, harshly criticize the parties out of power of the presidential and executive offices, if you can’t even pass the budget bill in a timely fashion, what right have to, do talk about the policies? But the Executive department refuses to budget the fundings of wage increase for the military servicemen, the guarantees of retirement pensions of police and firefighters, and was against the stop cutting back of the annual wages of the school instructors, no wonder the legislature couldn’t pass the budget bill; the executive department refusing to enact the laws passed by the legislature, but blamed the parties out of power of the executive offices of government as unqualified to talk of policies. Lai used the subvert logic to get himself off the hooks, and scapegoated the responsibilities of the dissipating of the policies to the parties out of power.
The disputes of the Constitutional Courts, showed the same sort of a wayward logic: Lai’s unwilling to nominate the grand justices who are neutral, but blamed the parties out of power, for paralyzing the constitutional courts.
The “Five Man Rule” showed their loyalties to the party, Lai is trying to flip the situation of the DDP’s losing power in the legislature, the amendments that were passed by the legislature, the “court of five” overturns. The Executive Department awhile ago, passed the amendment to the Relations of People with Chinese Government, other than the legislators, the mayors, the county magistrates now needing consent to visit China from the government, the proposal also included the entry level government employees who have no access to classified government data too. This indiscriminative way of discrimination by the government caused the backlash of the employees of the government offices.
To ensure the safety of the nation, to prevent the leak of military intel or the public affairs’ classified information from leaking out, there should be the measures taken, but, the means of these measures, should be, reasonable, and only limited to the government officials with accesses to classified intel, and not just get generalized to all government employees.
Besides, from the series of events, is there any, correlation between those who leak the intel to those who goes to, China? And the cases of the state departments employees involved in espionage is one case of this. Rather than scapegoating at all the government employees in the entire country, the DDP should be more focused on publicizing from within the government offices, prevention of leaking government intel, and putting the behaviors of government employees under the microscope, that is, the responsible way of getting rid of the problems of spies of the Chinese government in the government.
And yes, this is one of the diversion that the DDP comes up with, to get that spotlight of their own incapabilities off of themselves, the spies from before are government employees, and yet, they are shifting the attention of the public, by passing this amendment that puts all government officials higher up or lower under the microscope, forcing them to report to the government of all of their business visits to, China, to prevent enemies from, within, of COURSE this is going to cause the upsets of the government employees, because they can interpret the DDP’s behaviors as not trusting them enough, of preventing them from trying to interact with China on the people’s behalf, to PREVENT communication and exchanges, and that will ultimately, ISOLATE this SHITHOLE completely, and we would all be, SCREWED!!!
