One-Hour Dry Cleaning Franchise

The techniques in sales, tapping into the gambler’s fallacy of ordinary people, but hey, that’s why business is the LOWEST of all work, because it’s using the LIES, to get those dummies to fall for the tricks, and once they fall, there’s, NO way out for them, exactly like how the SCAMS worked!  Translated…

It’d happened, back in 1995, on a morning at the start of autumn, the skies were, blue and clear.  On the freeway to Valencia, became like a gray, long rug, just, kept on, extending, onward, stretching out before me.  The varied colors of autumn, made it like someone tipped over the palette of colors, and spilled it into a piece of abstract art.

Unfortunately though, at the next covered location, a highway patrol popped out, that totally, killed the moment for me.  I’d, steered onto the shoulder with that sense of unsettlement, and yet, the dark green uniform only pointed to the speed limit sigh.  Rummaged through my icense and registration, without another word, and, waved me off.

It was an exhibition hall that glowed golden, with the gambling tables lined up in rows before the roulette, with the bettors trying out their, luck.  I’d, had a handful of wagers, the first round, played the roulette, and can’t help but feel the least bit, curious.  The difference between me and the rest, is that I got no need to care about winning or losing, the chips weren’t paid for by me, but, if I’d won, all of the winnings are, mine, and, if I’d lost, I don’t lose anything at all.  The dealer in that small hat, black sleeves, with a bowtie, sung the tunes, “Ladies, gentlemen, place your bets.”  My wife started nagging at me impatiently, “don’t be stupid, there’s no such luck in the world for you, and you’d, fallen for their, trickery.”, after that, she’d, tried to, pulled me away.  Knowing that this was, odd, but I’d, still, placed all my chips onto that final number there, the “38”.

And, watching the chips that glowed gold, with the velvety green, I’d hesitated, should I, spread out the risks, and in my moment of hesitation—that tossed down small ball, already started, jumping around the roulette, with that crisp clean tempo, the clicking sound that sounded like music to my ears.  The red and black slots seemed to turn for an eternity, and everybody’s heads started, nodding around like the, waves.  And, just as things are almost, set, that naughty tiny ball started, bouncing a few more, extra, times, to over a couple of slots.  I’d felt, that I was going to get lucky as I came out today, and, there’s that saying of first bet is always a winner.  I couldn’t believe my eyes, felt ecstatic, that tiny ball landed into my slot.  And, in the shouting, the winnings got, pushed to, before me, someone started pushing me even more, screaming that the total sum of the prize is a million.

Actually, that was NOT even the casino, but the stand for the franchise in Vegas.  And, the winnings can’t get cashed out, but only used in the amount for the franchising venture, it’s basically, pointless.  Who knew, that soon as the shop opened, there’s this weirdo who didn’t bet by the books, and, gained a twenty-off discount on the franchise.

The hour dry-clean is to change the dark, wet, steamy hot traditional dry cleaners with the chemical smells into like a burger chain, bright, and shiny, changing the nitty-gritty of the work into simplistic tasks, that is even more easy in operations.  With the high-tech washer for dry-clean, the computerized cloth hangers, the automated ironing systems.  The customers can shop around the drycleaner, and in a short hour, they get to, get their dry-clean clothes back.

Toward the risks of this new venture, with the twenty-percent discount on the franchise, I couldn’t, make up my mind.  we’d decided to go and get something to eat, then to discuss it.  The manager who’d dressed to the nines saw us about to leave, started smiling at us hard, trying to appease us.  He kept stressing, that it’s next to impossible to win that grand prize, how the chances are, next to, impossible, to NOT miss out on this, opportunity, yada, yada, yada.  The crowd started, coming into the exhibition in the afternoon, as we’d returned back to the same stand of the roulette, before the smoke filled table, a woman who’d, betted on the same colors, started, grinning ear to ear too.  Just as I had, she too, magically, won, a million, dollars.

So, this SHIT is, a total, HOAX, a SALES technique, that the laundromat franchise uses, to reel in the possible dummies and hooking ‘em, but thankful, the writer did NOT fall for it, he’d not allowed the excitement of the moments, affected him into making a WRONG financial decision for himself and his, family, and so, these SCAM ARTISTS can only, look for the next possible, VICTIM, and if this other woman who’d won the “Grand Prize” will keep her head in all of it, nobody knows.  But at least, the writer did NOT get cheated out of his own hard earned money…
