The first retrial considered, that Chen’s motives for murder has to do with his upbringing, and how he was under enormous pressures at the time, Chen had weathered through his father being an abusive alcoholic, his mother having a mental condition and relapsing, which caused him to have low self-esteem, and formed a pessimistic personality, that before he’d murdered the victims, he couldn’t work, plus his mother didn’t get along with Chen, and they needed to move out, and Chen started flirting with her male customers, and other pressures combined, lacking the support from the family, he couldn’t find a way to correctly, relieve his stress, that’s what caused him to commit murder.
The first retrial pointed out, that Chen admitted to murder, that during the trial, he’d expressed that he’d inherited the assets from his own elders, that he was willing to give the property he’d inherited to the families of the victims, and already had his families wire over $3.44 million N.T.’s to the account specifically set up by the District Attorney’s Office of Taichung that goes to the victims, plus he still had valuable properties, that he was willing, and active in making up for his murder, that this goes to show that Chen was willing to change, to take responsibilities for his own actions, the courts changed his death sentence to life term, this can still be appealed.
In November of 2019, Chen was upset that his girlfriend, who’s a call girl, was flirtatious with members of the opposite sex, leaving him to care for their two young ten-months-old twin sons, as Chen came home, he’d, strangled her to death, then, put his two young sons into the washer, covered them up with thick blanket, disregarded the cries of his young son, getting locked inside the washer, they’d suffocated to death after an hour. Five days after he’d committed the murders, he was caught at a net café in Changwah, and the first and second trial both gave him the death penalty.
And, how is this man allowed, to escape the DEATH penalty? Simply because the Tsai government wanted to get rid of the death penalty? All the victims and their families became, sacrificed under the systems, and what this man did, the extreme measures he took to murder those two twin boys, and strangled his own cohabiting girlfriend, and after using these, EXTREME measures to murder children who are innocent (the only thing these two babies are GUILTY of was being BORN!!!), and the courts still, only give him a life-term? This is a case, of how FAR the government goes, to MESS with the JUDICIAL systems, seeing how Tsai had her mind set on getting RID of the death penalty during her reign of terror on the country!
