The Officer Extorted the Sex Workers, Sentenced to Twelve Years in Prison

Yeah, this is exactly like those MOBS, taking the protection moneys from the local businesses, isn’t it???  And you work for the law enforcement agencies too!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The former police officer from Zhongli Substation in Taoyuan Lee, after arresting a prostitute, through the middleman, he’d extorted money from the sex operations, the first trial gave Lee ten years eight months on encroachment, the second trial found that Lee was a law enforcement official, and received the bribes, and lengthened his sentence to twelve years, the Highest Courts tossed back Lee’s appeals yesterday, the case is closed, and Lee must serve the time in prison.

Based off of understanding in September of 2016, Lee arrested the prostitute, Tang in Zhongli, and found that she worked under the pimp, Lin, and who was the connected by his girlfriend’s godbrother as a middleman, invited Lin to meet up, which Lin told them, “Your business is flourishing, and you don’t think about paying the fees for me to keep your business under wraps”  “You shall get what’s coming if you don’t pay me the fees”!

And so, the culprit is still money here, because it seemed easy, to extort those pimps for money, so you had, and because they needed you to hush up about their business, they’re, willing to pay the prices, and you too the bribes, and now, you will be serving HARD time for it!

The Manager of the Prisons Accepted Sexual Favors, Sentenced to Four-and-a-Half Years

Taking BRIBES, as a jail guard, and now, you’re, behind B-A-R-S!  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The former wardens of Taichung Penitentiary, Weng in 2013, accepted favors of meals, as well as sex, for him to “take good care of” of the former officer, Lee who was serving for encroachment, and he was asked to bring towels, teas, cigarettes for other inmates as well, the Highest Courts maintained the rulings from the second trial, sentenced Weng to four years six months in prison, stripped him of his government post for two years, case closed.

During his trial, Weng admitted to being treated for seafoods, to drink alcohol, to take the hooke3rs out, but claimed that the cost was pay for temporarily by his friend, that he’d paid them back afterwards, that he’d not received any benefits; and his handing the teas, the towels, the cigarettes, he’d only broken the internal rules of operations, but the judge didn’t believe him.

During September of 2013, Weng was asked by a friend, Huang, to give a case of Changshou Cigarettes to the inmate, Chiao; on December of the same year, he’d taken three kilograms worth of teas to his friend, Chang’s younger brother who was serving time; in June of 2014, with a fellow prison manager, Chen, they’d received the pleas from a friend, Lu, to bring an inmate, Chien, ten towels.

Weng was found that in October of 2013, being treated to seafood by a friend, Huang, then, went to the karaoke bars to drink, and took the ladies out for sex, which Huang paid for in sum; Huang wanted to use these favors, in exchange for Weng’s looking after the former officer who was serving time for encroachment, Lee.

On the first trial, the courts sentenced Weng to seven years in prison for the crimes, stripped him of his post for three years; on the second trial, the sentence changed to four years six months, stripped of his post for two years; and, the other officer, Chen on the first trial, received two years ten months, stripped of his public post for two years, and on the second trial, he received only a year and ten months in prison and stripped of his public post for a year.

And so, you took these “favors”, and for what?  JAIL time!  That just still showed, how we are all, too easily tempted, and how easily officials of the law can get enticed, to commit the crimes that the inmates they’re placed in charge of had committed too.

The Three Former Police Station Managers Found Not Guilty of the Case of Encroachment of the Fourteen Officers Who were Involved in the Case

Officers who fell, AT the face, of temptation, and temptation took the form of???  M-O-N-E-Y this time, I mean, who CAN, say no to that, right???  On crime and punishment here, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Zhongshan Substation of the Taipei City Police Department’s getting the pay-off from the bar-brothel continually, the former station manger, Lin, Liu, Yang, and a total of fourteen members of the forces, were charged on corruption; the Taipei District Court read its decisions yesterday, the three former station managers and one officer received the “not guilty” verdicts, while ten patrol officers were found guilty, of them, six were given the jail sentences of over ten years, the heaviest punishment was sixteen years of prison, this can be appealed.

Of the officers found guilty, Hou received $1.88 million N.T.s, sentenced to sixteen years; Wu received $365,000N.T. receiving fourteen years; Ji with $270,000N.T. sentenced to fourteen years, Ma’s $580,000N.T. got him thirteen years; Chuang’s $520,000N.T., twelve years and a half, Chen received $40,000N.T., he’d received the severe sentence of ten years ten months, Yen got eight years for taking $225,000N.T.s, while the rest of the officers who were involved were fined, and suspended from their police officer posts for five to six years total.

While for the officers who’d, pleaded guilty, and turned in the money they received, the ones who’d complied with the investigations, all received lighter punishments, of them, Tseng took $155,000N.T., Yang got $620,000N.T., Gao received $630,000N.T.s, they received an average of two years of prison, suspension from their police officers’ statuses for four years and given five years of probation.

The three former station managers, and the officer, Huang were all found, not guilty.  The D.A.’s original indictment stated, that they received an anonymous call from “Wu”, whistleblowing the police substation’s taking in the bribes from the bars, as Lin received the reports, he’d, shown excessive concerns toward the bars, and was suspected of taking the money from the bars, but, the judge believed, that because the courts couldn’t positively identify the whistleblower, “Wu”, that the courts can’t decide, based off of situation solely, whether or not Lin was involved; Yang, Liu, and Huang were found to have been involved in the case, but, the reports of their involvements were, flawed, and so, they all received not-guilty verdicts.

The owners of the bar, Wu, Hu, Huang, Yang, Lee, and Lee were bribing the police stations, they received the sentences of anywhere between seven months to two years, and received two to five years of probation; the verdict found, that Wu took the total amounts of pimping out the women a total of over $47,000,000N.T.s, that Hu had made over $24,000,000 N.T.s, Huang made over $22,000,000 N.T.s, all of the money they’d made illegally, were confiscated by the government now.

And so, this still just showed, how when something seemed like an opportunity presented itself to you, it’s usually not, because these men got enticed by the money, they took the bribes, and, they ended up found guilty, and because they were police officers, their punishments are naturally, heavier, because they are, the officers of the LAW themselves, and they’d, broken the laws, and naturally, they deserve an even HARSHER sentence, compared to if an ordinary citizen had, committed this sort of a crime!

In the Arcade Gambling Case, the Officers Split Up the Hush Money, Found Guilty, Sentenced to Sixteen Years

A higher-ranking POLICE officer, breaking the LAWS, and for what, a little kickback!  How money is, so enticing here!  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

The former higher ranking police officer, Lee, while he was working as the head of the specialty task force with a high rank, took the bribes from the arcade owners, and he is imprisoned now; he’d, given up the assistant head of the department, Lin, who’d, split up the money from the arcade owners; Lin stated that he was only trying to help Lee, which was why he’d, admitted to taking the kickbacks, the High Subsidiary Courts in Kaohsiung found Lin guilty of embezzlement, sentenced him to sixteen years in prison.

Lin, who’d been taken off police duty with his wife and other members of his family came to court to hear the verdict, he was worked up, told, that Lee gave the bribes to the woman he was having an affair with, in order to protect the money, that was why he’d, made the false accusations, that there’s the communication records of what was being said, and that the courts found him guilty, based, solely off of Lee’s testimonies, without direct evidence, that he will, appeal to turn over the verdict.

Lee was accused of taking bribe from the arcade owners through receiving money from his subordinates, Yeh and Peng, who are both, fired from the police department now; Lee had taken the bribes twenty-one times, with the amount of a total of $11.44 million N.T.s.

As Lee was indicted, he claimed that he’d, split up the bribes he’d received from the arcade owners with the assistant lieutenant, Lin, and although Lin denied it, said that Lee’s accusations were to help himself get off easy, he’d not turned the bribe money from the arcade shops that Lin received, which was why he was still, charged with corruption.

The judge believed, that Lin while he directed the task force, had the right to assign his subordinates to check the arcades for gambling, he was the primary executor of the activities, that he’d, played a vital role, that the case couldn’t have been covered up so well, with only Lee working to, that he probably, received at least HALF of the bribe money from the arcade owners, he’d, gone against his call of duty, and gave him sixteen years in prison, and stripped him of his status in the force for six years.

In October of 2016, the district attorney’s office of Kaohsiung started investigating the cases of the police department’s looking the other way in the arcade gambling case, back then, Lee was just, promoted to the assistant director of the Sanming Second Substation, and because his testimonies are vital for the convictions, after his sentence was, reduced, he received six years, four months in prison, he’d started serving his prison term this February; the former police officer, Yeh received a year and a half, and, the former patrol officer’s indictment, is still, pending right now.

And so, this, is what made these officers, break the law, for a little, extra money, they’d, broken the law, AS, police officers, and, they should get heavier sentences, as a warning, to those who are, about to, break the law, and this still just showed, how even the police can be, tempted, by money, to break the laws!

The Star of Tomorrow in the Police Department Suspected of Taking Kickbacks from the Brothels

A TRULY BAD example, of police officers here, knowing the law, AND breaking it, all because of M-O-N-E-Y!!!  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

The Taipei District Attorney’s Office reviewed the case of the Zhongshan Police Substation’s overlooking the operations of the sex shops, and found, that the former executive sergeant, Wu, was suspected of overlooking the brothels in his district while he was working in the local areas, and he took in bribe of $15,000N.T. per month, the district attorneys called Wu to their offices yesterday.  Wu denied being involved, the district attorneys believe he was evasive in his answering the inquiries, and, after they’d interrogated him, they set his bail at half a million dollars, and the former sergeant of the same station was out on bail of $700,000N.T.s, both men’s passports were turned in, to prevent flight risk.

The D.A. investigated and found, that there were FIVE members of this police substation who’d not only overlooked the operations of the brothels in their area, but also protected the male sex workers in certain whorehouses, so the men can keep on selling, from 2007 to 2016, the police officers at the station took in around seven million dollars N.T. worth of bribe.  After the District Attorney’s Offices indicted the officer Tseng at the start of this year, they’d zoomed in on the lead, that led them to suspect that Wu, Ho, Gao, and Yang were taking in bribes, Gao and Yang turned themselves in to the D.A.’s Office, and were both out on $200,000N.T.s bail and restricted from going abroad.

Based off of investigations, Wu was accused of overlooking the operations of the famous brothels on Linseng N. Road, and, the male prostitutes who’d accompanied the female guests out, were paid anywhere from $6,000 N.T. to $8,000N.T. each time.

Wu is an entry level officer, he’d worked in the specialized task squads, later he tested into the police college, last July he was transferred to the executive units, worked in areas of scanning for the sex industry operations.  He was perceived as a star of tomorrow in the police department, and now, he’d, ruined his own future.

The case all started, with how the local substation took the bribes of $40,000N.T. a month, to overlook the Japanese-Style bar’s operations in the sex trade, the Taipei D.A.’s Office last year took the former substation manager, Lin along with nine other officers into custody, there were seven officers who’d denied having taken the bribes, the D.A. is asking the judge to give them all heavy sentences.

The Taipei District Court not long ago set the bails for Lin and six other officers at $300,000N.T. to $1,200,000N.T.’s, and demanded that they don’t contact one another who are involved in the case, primary reason being, how the D.A. is still gathering the evidence in the case of Wu’s overlooking the operations of the man whore shops, and recently, they’d, gained valid evidence against him.

And so, this, is how someone gets enticed by money, and, these men, threw away a perfect career with the police forces, for what?  A few dollars, and now, they’re not just, getting fired, they’re also, looking at doing some HARD time for taking in the bribes, and, these sex shops are really bad too, in thinking, that they can PAY off the police to look the other way so they can, keep on operating.
