The Nurse Neglected the Male Infant Causing Him to Become Blind, Carried a Bad Attitude, Received a Five-Month Jail Sentence

This is, NEGLECT, and it makes you want to, think more than TWICE (‘cuz it’s not enough!!!), before you PLACE yourself, and your newborn infant in the care centers, don’t it???  Off of the Front Page Sections, translated…

A nurse from Taichung, Wu, in order to care for a male infant who’s hospitalized for jaundice, she didn’t, pay attention to him that he was, spitting his formula back up, after the infant was resuscitated, he was rushed by transfer to the VMH in Taichung; the infant, after being treated by therapeutic hypothermia, he was diagnosed with brain damage due to anoxia, five months ago, the infant was discharged from the hospital, by then he was, blind, and needed the feeding tubes.  The Taichung District Court charged Wu with assault and neglect, sentenced her to five months in prison, that she can pay a fine without serving the time, and this can still be appealed.

The pregnant woman, Sun, on October 6th, 2015, gave birth to a male infant, Kuo at the Lin-Xing Hospital in Taichung, on the nineteenth of the same month, the infant male was taken back to the hospital for his check up, they’d found signs of jaundice, and assigned him to hospitalization that very afternoon.  At eleven o’clock late in the evening, because the infant boy choked on the formula, couldn’t breathe, the nurse on duty for the midnight shifts, Wu didn’t pay attention, the infant became limp in his limbs, stopped breathing, ceased to have a pulse; as she’d finally discovered him, she’d immediately called up the doctor, Chien on duty, to resuscitate the infant.

Wu notified the family of the infant of him being in critical condition, and in the early morning hours of October 20th, the infant was lifted to the V.M.H. in Taichung to be treated.  At the preliminary examinations, the Taichung V.M.H. found the infant male to lack the response of being scared, he couldn’t, suck, swallow, he became limp on his limbs, was in a coma, etc., etc., etc., decided to employ the methods of therapeutic hypothermia to treat him; the M.R.I. of his brains showed, that his conditions were caused by anoxia.

The Taichung V.M.H. treated the infant for five months, then, the infant was, discharged from the hospital, but he’d suffered severe optical nerve damages, and had complications from anoxia too, and relied on the feeding tubes, and need to be on the epileptic medications too.

The verdict pointed out, that the physician who’d treated the infant boy, Chien noted how there is, huge amounts of formula that was, drained out on the infant male’s airways, that the cause of his brain damage is probably from asphyxiation from choking on the formulas, and brain damage from anoxia.  The male infant’s father testified, that he’d received a call from the hospital that his son choked on the formula and was in need of emergency resuscitation, that very evening, in the E.R., the infant had been diagnosed as anoxia caused by choking on the formula, and the family transferred the infant to Taichung Veteran’s Memorial Hospital to treat.  On the records, the Taichung V.M.H. had, that on the night of emergency resuscitation, the E.R. doctors, Chien and the E.R. department had, diagnosed the infant as anoxia caused by choking.

The nurse, Wu denied her neglect toward the infant boy, the Taichung Court found her to have an awful attitude, that she should be punished, to set an example for all.

And so, these parents, they’d, left their young son at a afterbirth care center, thinking he’d be, well taken care of, but, because the nurse wasn’t paying enough attention, this young child is now, handicapped, and the nurse who was tending to this infant should be punished, it’s due to her negligence, that this young infant’s life got, ruined.

The Air, My Friend

The column by Jimi Liao, translated…

Because I can’t keep my self all the time, keep maintaining that bright happy smile,

So, I’d made an enormous sculpture, to tell myself: be happy, smile more!

the artwork of Jimi Liao, from UDN.com…

This is just odd, and, it’s so sad to see, that there are still, adults “educating” their own young like this: that they can’t be unhappy, they need to be happy, and you DO realize, how this, is considered as a sort of emotional NEGLECT, right???

Baby Beating Baby, Caught on Camera, But Nobody Stopped the Behaviors, the Parents are Now, Suing the Nannies for Not Doing Their Jobs

Uh hello, CERTIFICATIONS, and the adult to children ratio for infants is what, NO more than THREE kids per adult, right???  How the HELL should I know???  From the Newspapers, translated…

A woman, He, in Hsinbei City, two years ago, handed her eleven-month old baby boy over to the nanny, the Lins, to care, and there were video footage of how her son sat on top of, and hitting a five-month old baby girl, He was displeased at how the nanny only stood by and watched, without putting an end to her own son’s behaviors, awhile ago, she’d streamed the videos online, to complain about how the nanny failed to do her job right.

The Social Services Department of Hsinbei City stated, that the Lin’s didn’t do anything bad, that the video footage was from two years ago, to let the parents know, that the baby boy has the tendency to hit others, but because she didn’t stop the bad behaviors, and she’s already under investigation of the negligence, and that the Social Services Department will reinforce the trainings, and keep a close eye on the matter.

And this video footage was interpreted by the online community as the “Youngest Incidence of Bullying”.  The Social Services Department stressed that the baby girl was NOT at all hurt, that the baby boy had NO ability of comprehending the consequences of his own behaviors, so, the nanny should’ve taken care of the child who was hit, along with redirect the baby boy’s behaviors.

He, the mother of the baby boy said, that the boy in the video footage was her eldest son, that he was in the care of the nanny couple, the Lins for multiple years, and that the Lin’s had once handed her a recording of his daily life when he was with them, but she’d never even opened up the files, until recently, when her three-month old younger son had an ear infection, and wouldn’t heal back up properly, she’d suspected that there was mishap at the nanny’s, and she’d turned on the recording, and was shocked to find “children beating up on children”.

“I was all too shocked!”, He had switched nannies right away, and had found the five-month old baby girl’s mother and apologized to her in person, and, as the infant girl’s mother learned, she too, was shocked, and switched nanny too.

He said, that back when she’d found the Lins on the nanny website, she’d trusted that since Lin worked as a substitute teacher at an elementary school, “she should be professional”, without knowing, that there was still neglect, she’d sighed, “Nannies are a shut-up profession”, and ALL the evidence is at the nanny’s house, and the nannies who’d had a complaint had NO exit strategies, and even IF the parents realized that something wasn’t right, there’s NO way anything can be done, to collect the evidence.

So, it is still the N-A-N-N-Y’s fault here, I mean, the infant to adult ratio should be what???  No more than three to five right?  The HELL should I know!!!  And, because this is NOT a government funded facility, there’s NO way to enforce the rules, and yeah, the nanny should’ve done SOMETHING, to STOP the little boy from beating up on the little girl.

Holding Tight to Teddy, Waiting for Her Mommy, a Five-Year-Old Nearly Starved to Death

If you can’t raise them up right, if you can’t provide for them their daily necessities, then, why the FUCK (my B-A-D!!!) you havin’ them???  From the Front Page Sections, translated…

A woman, Lu, she didn’t have money to raise her five-year-old daughter, she’d abandoned her own child at their rental place, without electricity OR water supply, then, disappeared, the little girl would hold on to her Teddy, waiting by the door, for her mother to come home, she was kept alive by the kindness of the neighbors; the district court in Banciao changed Lu, the mother to a nine months prison term for abandonment of her own child.

Lu denied having abandoned her little girl, claimed that she’d run out of money, and was about to be in labor, and the little girl’s father, Lee said he would come home, that, was why she’d left her little girl to the boss of Lee to care for.  The judge believed that Lu’s claims where false because the investigators weren’t able to find the boss, the judge scolded the woman for causing the little girl emotional stress, and she’d had a bad attitude during the interrogations.

The verdict pointed out, that Lu and Lee started living together back in September, 2004, and had the little girl, the three of them originally lived in the Yingge area, two years ago, Lee had left the mother and the child to find work in Hualien, and, because Lu was having a hard time making ends meet, and she was also pregnant with her ex-boyfriend’s baby, two years ago in June, she’d abandoned her daughter, to go to Taoyuan to live with a friend.

The little girl would hold tight to her Teddy Bear, sitting by the front door, stared into space in the rental place that’s without water OR electricity, and, she would wander the streets from time to time too; the neighbor, a woman, Tseng had found her and asked, “Where’s your mom?”, the child replied, “Mom’s ill, and she couldn’t take me with her.”, making Tseng’s heart wrench for the child.

Tseng would take care of the little girl, give her three meals a day, and in the evenings, she would take the child home and give her a bath, then, take her to her rental place to sleep.  But Tseng had three other grandchildren she needs to take care of, and, after a month, she couldn’t afford to look after the little girl anymore, so, she’d asked the man who’s in charge of her borough, Lin, to call up the biological father, but he didn’t want to return home to look after his own child.

And, because there are NO other options, Lin was forced to call up the social services, along with the cops, the child is now in foster care, and the police had processed the parents based off of charges of abandonment of their child; Lee, the man, was sentenced to eight months in prison this August for abandonment, although Lu claimed that she had gone back to check on her little girl, the judge still saw her action as abandonment.

Here, is yet, ANOTHER (and no, it still won’t BE the last of ITS “kind”!!!) example of LOUSY parents, I mean, if you couldn’t’ keep your offspring fed, clothed, sheltered (everything ON those first TWO levels of the Hierarchy of Need???), then, you got NO right to even BE having children, and yet, this woman got KNOCKED UP by her boyfriend again, which, was exactly WHY she had to “go away”, and, she didn’t even THOUGHT about taking HER little girl with her, are you kidding me?  What kind of a parent ARE you, you’d abandoned your kid in an empty house, without ANY food, what are you planning on doing?  Starving her to death?

Driver Charged, After Boy DIES in a HOT Van

Found in the Houston Chronicle…

A daycare center van driver was arrested, for the three year old who’s unconscious in the sweltering van, outside the daycare center.  Police investigations found out that Hooks, the driver drove a group of kids from the daycare to a movie on July 20, but the three year old didn’t follow them on the return trip.  Investigators said that he may have been left in the van for over two hours before he was discovered.

The preliminary autopsy report showed that the child died of a heatstroke.

And, W-H-O should we BLAME for the death of this little boy?  The DRIVER, the center, after all, the driver DID get HIRED by the center, and, here’s some SAFETY tips during the summer time: do NOT leave any LIVING organism (including Goldie the GOLDFISH) inside the car, parked OUT, under the S-U-N, otherwise, CRUELTY to ANIMALS would be the LEAST of your worries here, okay???

Mother was Only Away for Ten Minutes, and a Ten-Month Old Baby Drowns

Are you kidding me, after ALL the stories on the N-E-W-S, and you still don’t learn?  Translated…

A twenty-two-year-old young mother, after finishing up bathing her son, left water about ten centimeters, so his son could keep playing in the water.  She went into the bedroom, to do some chores, unknowingly that her two-year-old daughter was playing with her brother, accidentally turned on the faucet, causing the child to drown.

After the accident, Kao was broken-hearted, she claimed that she was cleaning up the bedroom, ten minutes later she heard her daughter scream, she rushed to the bathroom, saw that her son had went “belly up” and wasn’t breathing, she called the ambulance.

The woman blamed herself “I didn’t pay attention to the older sister playing with the faucet.”, she said, she’d left about ten centimeter’s water in the tub for the children to bathe in, maybe that the older sister turned on the faucets, when she heard her daughter scream, the bathtub was filled with water, “it was too late”.

The hospital said, that when the boy was brought in, there was NO sign of life, after resuscitating him for one and a half hour, he still died; the woman was crying like crazy when the y couldn’t revive him.

The woman is currently eight months pregnant, she will be due in February next year, she’s taking care of two toddlers, she couldn’t free her hands.

The Nanny’s Network from the family center in Hua-Lien, Li-Yun Wang said that after the child’s finished bathing, s/he should be taken out of the bathroom, and placed in a safe environment, “there are too many factors of danger in the bathrooms, it is the most dangerous place in a house.”

Wang also said that in their professional nanny trainings, they’d point out how if the water temperature is too low, it might cause the child to get a cold, or if it’s too hot, then, it might caused them to get burned, slipping, and accidentally ingesting of cleaning agents, the professional training for nannies will stress, before the age of 3, a child should NOT be left alone in the bathroom, if playing in the tub, then, must prepare a floating device, like the doughnut.

Call this NEGLIGENCE, because you should N-E-V-E-R leave one young child in the care of another young child, that would be Y-O-U-R job, to look after your children, and, it only takes one minute for an accident to occur, and, it can’t be repaired.
