Apparently, the DRUG TRADES, paid, WAY better than planting those, normal, agricultural produces here! Getting CAUGHT, off of the Front Page Sections, translated…
The ginger farmer, Liu in his own farm, in Lugu, Nantou, planted the marijuana, sold the plants off to a southern dealer, to make a killing, as the police in Taichung busted a drug deal last month involving marijuana, they’d followed the leads, went through the obstacles, and arrested the planters, Liu realized he wasn’t going to escape the law, he’d turned himself in, and, the police confiscated a total of 1,361 live marijuana plants, it’s the largest amount of marijuana in the drug busts in the history, and the drugs are estimated to get sold at over six hundred million dollars N.T. The police pointed out, that they’d confiscated a total of 1,361 marijuana plants, and, based off of the estimates of each plant’s producing 300 grams worth of manufactured marijuana, the prices that Liu sold to the downstream wholesalers was $800N.T./gram, and it’s estimated that he’d illegally gained $330 million N.T.s, the Chiaotou D.A.’s office awhile ago asked the courts to have Liu into police custody, which the courts allowed.
The police found, that Liu in his thirties, was a local farmer in Lugu, he’d originally planted ginger, and other agricultural produces, many years ago he got involved in the scams, and worked at an external machinery room, was arrested, in prison for two years, as he was released, he’d realized that farming doesn’t earn him enough, and decided, to use an alternative method to plant the marijuana to make the money.
The Taichung Detective Squad in July of this year busted a dealing case, and as the officers compared notes, they’d found, that the level two dealers are stationed in Kaohsiung, and the Taichung police worked hand-in-hand with the Zuoying Substation, and called in the Chiao-Tou D.A.’s office for assistance.
After months of ambushing, collecting the evidence, the police passed through the five levels of obstacles, and the dealers told of the sources where they got the marijuana, and they’d found, that the highest on the chain of command was the ginger farmer, Da Liu, of Nantou.
The police at the start of the month went to Da Liu’s residence in Nantou to search, they’d found, that the roof, the steel shack, as well as his farms, were planted with marijuana, the police and D.A., in the midst of how shocked they all were, confiscated 787 live marijuana plants, and the equipment he used to plant the marijuana, while Liu was already, at large, after he learned of the police, trying to catch him.
And so, because planting ginger couldn’t get you enough money, because, let’s face it, these plants used for cooking, aren’t as, profitable, and so, you’d, turned to planting the marijuana plants, that’s, a much more, lucrative “business”, isn’t it? And you got BUSTED!
