The man, Hsieh took out two rental places in Yongkang District of Tainan, used them as the mechanical unit of an online gambling ring. The Criminal Investigation Bureau went down south to search the place, they’d accidentally found, that the operation unit also sought out ladies who were originally hired by bars who are now unemployed, because of the outbreaks to find work in the sex industries, with the starting costs of $15,000N.T.s; the police arrested thirteen suspects, charged them with illegal gambling, obstruction of social order.
Based off of understanding, the workers admitted to the police, there were the ladies who came looking for work after the bars were shut down”, they’d posted the photos of the women and information onto a sex-trade/friendship website, for the workers to fake s the ladies, to hook the male clients, then, used the sob stories of owing debts, families being ill, to get the persons to agree to go out to eat together, to have sex, even, to keep as partners in the sex calls, and after the deals were made, then, the crew notified the ladies to have them go.
The police reviewed over the conversation records and found that the mechanical unit had signed at least six women up for the jobs, and successfully, pimped them all out over twenty times already, and made the illegal profits of anywhere from $500,000N.T. to $600,000N.T., with the ladies and the operators splitting the money 50-50.
The police found, that the twenty-eight-year-old man, Hsieh came from a well-to-do family, that he was suspected of being the one putting up the money for the operations of the gambling unit, using the $25,000N.T. per month to recruit the workers, to do customer services, managing the bets, and get more members to join for the online gambling ring.
Awhile ago, the police searched the mechanical units, the dorms, took twenty-one computers, forty-three cell phones, more than $210,000N.T. in cash into evidence, nine men and three women were, arrested, and, they put an arrest warrant on Hsieh as well.
The investigation found, that the gambling mechanical unit started operations back in April, made close to five million dollars in a little over a month illegally, those who were involved were charged with illegal gambling, the members were out on bail from the D.A.’s offices; three more of the “employees” who were responsible for matching the male clients to the ladies were charged with obstruction of public order.
And so, this is still based off of how easily people CAN be bought, AND sold, and, it’s a, lucrative business, the sex and the gambling industries, and all of these, illegally run “businesses”, all got, busted, as they should be!
